I can agree with that, being that it's wholly off-topic. But I don't have to like it!

It will be even bloodier than you hoped!

    Wait, wrong romance...

Hahaha 17 days and we can romance whoever we want! Dorn is fair play, but I never took him down the romance route, just the quests.

That's something I don't get. 95% of the time I simply want Dorn to open a door or I don't know, go stand in a patch of grass or something. Why would I hope for something bloody? I mean I have no hopes, bloody or otherwise, about the way Dorn moves to another patch of grass.

Dorn smears blood on doors and in grassy fields from his blood soaked hands and feet when he tromps around. He's just doesn't shower (its a half orc thing).

It is a bit strange, but after a while I just started finding it funny. He is so earnest in his love of murder.

He doesn't shy away from his natural bloodlust. That said, do you guys predict a little change in their dialog for bg2? For instance, will neera dorn and rasaad have the same things to say when you click on them or direct them somewhere? From what I remember the other npcs that were playable in both said different things.

Dorn's just walking along while catching and crushing butterflies :p (technically its not blood on his hands but hemolymph but somehow thats not as impressive sounding)

He is so earnest in his love of murder.

That takes on a new meaning if you're romancing him...

Agreed. Still, I have no hopes at all about the amount of blood and/or hemolymph. He should really say: No matter what you may have expected or even hoped, It shall be bloody. Or something.

Yeah, but that sounds lame. Dorn has too much style and panache for that.

Even a simple 'It shall be bloody' could do. Anyway, English is not my native tongue. You guys should come up with a sufficiently stylish sentence. The way he sounds right now, my CHARNAME just wants to slap him with the back of her hand and the only thing stopping her are his tusks.

I hired Dorn to be a killing machine, not for him to be pedantic...
  • onanonan Member Posts: 223
I am the pedant here, no worries. He is still a killing machine, albeit a moronic sounding one.

@Elminster this thread needs updating! ;) OMG BG2EE comes out in this month, and in less than two weeks! Tomorrow we can already say that it comes out the next week!!

Also to answer the original question; I'm just happy that BG2EE is coming out at all. During the legal mess not even that was sure...

Well, you're probably fairly busy (meddling in peoples' affairs without their consent like the nosy Mystra-loving buffoon you are).

I'm kind of hoping they will bring some new kits with bg2e, they should do as its not hard to do (shudders at the bugs from dragon mage and shadowdancer when they came out) and plus im interested in seeing a guy again who has quotes "I cannot be caged, I cannot be controlled, know this as you die ever pathetic fools"
