On the otherhand, I took Dorn in BG:EE liked him a lot then, but I find myself mostly annoyed with him in BG2 because he's stupid evil. Yes, let's kill everything without thinking!!! You can be outright evil without bloodshed. He has no imagination ahha. It felt like he was making more work for himself than he needed.
Just one level more and he'll be able to hit anything with +4 fists. Yeah, he's a powerhouse.
Not to mention a pretty well-written character. I can't wait to see what happens tto him in ToB.
Great voicework (though in BG2:EE he doesn't remark that moving to a patch of flowers will be even bloodier than I'd hope, which is a shame), badass fighter and over-the-top completely senselessly evil.
Considering Viconia's "more bitch than evil" and Edwin's "more asshole than evil" and Sarevok's "I used to be really evil but now I'm just the diet version, just one calorie of evil", having Dorn go all out, "balls to the walls, murdering every innocent he can get his hands on evil" is refreshing.
But Baeloth and Hexxat are also masterpieces.
So far I only played with Hexxat after hearing good things.
Especially the one that isn't listed.

Who doesn't like a vampire - does this really count as a spoiler now.
Personally, I like Hexxat. It's a no-brainer for someone who step-by-step have been gathering all the available information about her during several months, isn't it?;))
To tell the truth, the twist in her plot was a complete surprise for me, as big as Yoshimo's destiny in the past. It was something like OMFG....NO, it can't be... NO....WOW...I CAN'T BELIEVE IT...
This feeling alone is enough for me to say Beamdog's job was done brilliantly. TAKE A BOW, Liam Esler!
I like her portrait and I'M GLAD the Devs have decided to give her something not general, not ordinary. It's a portrait of a very strong woman, really strong and is unprecedented in BG. Her look, her jewelry are very magnetic. I understant it's not something that everybody wants or likes but it gives her unique traits, it makes her special.
I like her voice, her dialogs, the words she chooses. Combined with the portrait it gives me an image of a very interesting NPC.
I like her stats and abilities. It's cool. Just cool.
So, starting from her story and ending with her look I'm sold.
As for Hexxat, I cannot say much about her since I just acquired, but I do feel the interaction between her and Charname feels a bit stilted and out-of-place; the conversation options feel a bit off.
I have never used either the monk or the sorcerer, but I'm pretty indifferent towards monks anyway.
