I did use Keeper to Multi-class myself to Fighter / Wild Mage. Still not sure why you can't specialize.
Though in BG2 it hit me that my Wisdom even with 3 tomes was going to be shy for the Wish spell. I wonder if I should've dropped Constitution to 15 knowing it would get to 16 with manuals (does Fighter / Mage get the CON benefit that Warriors do post 16? I'm not sure... if not then I'll probably keeper edit my score to be much more useful) and dropped Dex to 18 to wind up with
Mage/Thief just starting TOB. I've played her from Baldur's Gate EE, so her stats are a little inflated. She has done most of Watcher's Keep and is only Chaotic Evil (former Chaotic Neutral) because she's a bit selfish (she let Dorn bite it).
I EnhancedKeeper'd myself back to LN because the alignment change in Hell is heavy-handed and off-putting, and I installed some mods. Dwarves are the best race ever, but this isn't even his final form. He hasn't gotten stat boosts from Lum the Mad yet.
@Eudaemonium ( we haven't seen your tiefling btw )
Annd obviously, i changed my mind, because i suck, and made her back into a "he", since i don't like like the female fighter sprite, it doesn't have bulky shoulderpads!!!
And now that i think of it, i could have used the male sprite instead, but i kinda wanted to play as "me" i guess. Because i'm totally a vampire, myself and all ( lol )
Don't throw tomatos please ;x
This is the male version :P
@Kurumi, that undead huntress is badass! :O ( although i wouldn't want her after my azz )
The trials just make you NE, I thought. Have they changed it so that you become evil but keep your Lawful/Chaotic axis?
I assume it must have because I have an earlier import I used for the black pits and she was definitely Chaotic Neutral then. And I did make an evil choice in the Hell Trials. I was definitely surprised because previously it had always been neutral evil for me.
She's primarily a Staff fighter, but if she went DW she wouldn't actually need whirlwind. Level 7 Fighter + Grandmastery + Gauntlets of Extraordinary Specialisation + Speed weapon in off-hand (Scarlet Ninjato) puts your APR at 5, so you can hit 10 under Improved Haste . Hardiness would help, though, especially with her terrible Con =P
I didn't wanna drag along a silly thief just to pick locks and disarm traps so I figured I'd start with a thief, put all the points in those skills and go war machine afterwards then just take off the plate mail while thieving.
I didn't however manage to find decent companions except Korgan and he too had to be looked after SO much I was usually best off just buffing the main fighter and tanking everything. Tried Dorn and Rasaad as a 3rd melee but they could only barely be useful keeping smaller enemies off the spellcasters.
Most of my combat time was just trying to keep the rest of the party alive while the fighter didn't get touched by anything.
Gotta say though Neera was a great addition to the party, Nahal's Reckless Dweomer was godlike in a tight spot with all the useful spells already used.
a vampire cleric......interesting. You know you have to wear Dragomirs cloak as vampire?
By the way, i confirmed, that a pc vampire does not have to wear the cloak, nothing happens to you, unlike a certain other... /snort :PP
But as i said, i'm not a vamp! I was just plagued with the undead side associated with the lord of murder and all ;p
Half undead tops, really
Neither Vampire nor Tiefling presumably have any racial attributes actually coded for them, and thus changing your race to either of them is essentially cosmetic. When I made my tiefling Charname I had to manually give her all the tiefling racial benefits and penalties.
Here's my character. I set out from the start of BGEE with a long term goal in mind: a 19 strength blade that can use Carsomyr. And, well... mission accomplished.
2 apr when I offensive spin, and each hit does max damage. I mainly use my blade as a utility character, throwing up a bunch of defensive spells and soaking up damage from groups of enemies, and having that dispel on hit is very useful. When I get a little further in Watcher's Keep, I'll get some gloves that increase apr by 1/2, so that'll help too.
I am rocking a sorcerer in BGEE that I am going to be importing in BG2EE. I lucked out and got a roll of 94, completely legit on my 5th roll. Although, While I have toyed around with the idea of EEKeepering it into a Wild Mage I am determined to stick it out as a sorcerer, that and 2 Wild Mages would make for a crazy time.

STR19 | DEX19 | CON16 | INT19 | WIS18 | CHA8
Se la vie...
Angeline Ravenwood aka Raven
A chaotic neutral Shadowdancer/Mage as main char
Sorcha Van Doren
A lawful good Undead Hunter(ess)
Amber
A chaotic neutral Sorcer(ess)
and as usual the rest of the party is filled with 2 switching NPCs + Hexxat. Wasn't easy to convince Sorcha to let Hexxat stay ..
BEEFCAKE, BEEFCAAAAKE!
Anyway here it is, just starting.
I "cheated" the race in,the base race was Half-orc technically, hence the stats after the tomes, but i want my undead damnit!
Ok she's actually a half-vampire touched by undeath and yada yada, or a pathfinder Dhampir :>

I think only a specific NPC has a problem actually ;p
Fine, because you insisted:
