    10 str. enh.
16 dex. Still damn quick for pushing 40.
8 con; In pretty good shape, but I have asthma, plus the wife says I can't go as long as I used to.
8 int. Had trouble adding these up(my total is 68, figured I deserved an intelligence hit).
12 wis. I like to tell kids not to play computer games or they will end up like me. That's wise.
14 chr. Wife is quite the looker, play to many old pc games, and low int. Must have something going on.

Guess I would play a thief with these stats.

I see that a lot of people claim to have 18 int. I didn't realize that the best geniuses of our generation are on this forum.

If you're the only person in your own country to have completed a 3 1/2 year course in 18 months (could have done it in 12 months but could only fit in 14 of the 16 subjects in that year) and no one has ever done it in less than 3 years, then what INT would you give that person? Same with doing 3 hour exams in 20 minutes. That's the good thing about the internet. You never know who is on these forums. :P

12 str. I am 6.3high with strong legs, but my arms lack. I pref a spear over a 2hand sword.
15 dex. Good aim with a riflen (irl & fps). Can use both hand as good.
14 con. I have never broke anything in my body and never sick.
10 int. I am very slow generel, but can be fast thinking in same areas. So positive+negative=balance.
10 wis. I read books, but not alot.
9 charisma. Very white and a bit fat. Never got a girlfriend.

Hmm maybe a fighter some use a bow and 2x short swords.

    I'm a juggernaut!

    Oh fun!

STR: 8. Former hockey player but I had to quit due to knees and back problems. Never really gotten back my strength back after that.
DEX: 15. I still have great reflexes and I often work with my hands, fixing things or making things. For example, I love to create cool and different cakes and decorate them with sugarpaste/flowerpaste which require a delicate hand. :)
CON: 9. Sort of crappy immune system. Allergic to birch trees and grass. Oh and lactose intolerant too.
INT: 14. Studied at a University for several years and always did well, except whenever math was involved.
WIS: 12. Curios about the world, open minded and so on..
CHA: 12. I'm good with people and not shy. I like talking and meeting new people.

So I think I would be a Thief or Bard of some kind.

Str: 10 (I believe the modern average is 7 since physical labor is uncommon)
    Dex:10
    Con: 15
    Wis: 14
    Int: 12
    Cha: 12

I used game keeper to increase my stats. :)
Truth is I am an athlete (mountain bike for miles when ever I can), I never get sick and heal fast, I am a college student who often leads the class discussions and love to learn; I am the least observant person I know, but I am a peace maker and an advice give (studying to be a therapist) and I can usually talk people down from being mad. In addition to all that I am not bad looking, but I'm short and my voice is too high.
    I am a super gnome.
I know that doesn't add up to 70 but I am more interested in describing my self.
I wish I could be a ranger but my dex means bad aim. I would be an adventuring priest.
Truth is though half of us would be dead at birth or eaten by monsters by now. The rest would be mining in nashkel

Strenght:15(i can carry a big suitcase).
    Dexterity:13(I don't run really fast).
    Constitution:17(i'm a little overweight).
Int:13(i did well enough in high school)
wisdom:2(i'm on a adventure! ''throws himself off the building'')
    Charisma:10(i'm somewhat interesting).

    Probably a fighter.

@recklessheart, Str under 8 isn't that feeble. Think of the weekest and strongest adults (not including steroid use or sickness due to illness) and those should be your extremes. Trouble lifting a kettle? My toddlers can lift a kettle. More like trouble lifting the spare tire out of the trunk of the corolla.
I would also contend that modern average is 7 since most people these days don't use their muscles harshly. The army had to lower it's standards because people can't do pull ups any more.
You say you are weak: then say a 6.

maybe slightly off topic, but was wondering, what would you give to wolverine

my guess would be something like this?
str: 14 He's strong but not that strong
    dex: 16 quite agile
con: 21 He not only regens, he regens quicker then trolls
int: 11 He's fast on combat thinking but quite laid back outside that
wis: 10 He has his moments but usually leaves the wisdom up to others
cha: ??? this one is hard, as reading the comic/watching the movie, you'd want to say cha of 20. But if you actually had to be around him with his rough edges, you'd say it was much lower. I thinking what, and 8?

someone correct me if i'm wrong please, just trying to get a good idea how it relates to.....well, not the real world obviously, but an example we all know of that's outside of dnd.

Well not to blow my own horn here, but I'd like to see someone complete an optical coherence tomography PhD with an Int below 16 ;P

That could be 17 int, but not 18. While I'm sure every mage player character has it, it's supposed to be very rare. 19 is considered superhuman.

STR 12 - 6'-2", 230 lb. Never really a muscle man type, but I get by
    DEX 8 - I'm a plodder. I can run 10 yards or walk 10 hours lol
CON 8 - Generally healthy, a little arthritis in the knees but nothing I can't push thru if need be, not as young as I was yesterday
INT 17 - 3.9 GPA in Electrical Engineering, back in the day
WIS 12 - I had to soak up a little something in all those years
CHA 13 - It's what was left out of 70. No problem getting up in front of a crowd and dispensing the gospel according to Munin. Opposite of what I was as a youngster.

What does that make me? Mutated gibberling or xvart?
  • BjjorickBjjorick Member Posts: 1,208
@munin i would say drop the int by 4, and you'd be a paladin :)
  • MuninMunin Member Posts: 95
@Bjjorick I had to put them somewhere. Maybe my actual limit should have been about 65?
  • BjjorickBjjorick Member Posts: 1,208
nah was just looking at your profile picture and thinking of your age and most paladins i've known were older. Was thinking that it might be a good fit. Didn't mean any offsense though

i´ll try to be like this (no idea if it´s accurate)

    Str: 14 (doing sports)
Dex: 16 (do perception skills count here?)
    Con: 10 (regular built)
    Int: 12 (academic degree)
Wis: 14 (in comparison to Int i "feel" like that)
Cha: 4 (to hit 70 really, plus it´s by far my worst stat)

    I´m a Stalker i guess (game-wise not the real life pervert-sort-of-thing :D)

I find this kind of thing fascinating, so I took both the tests.

The Easydamus test says I'm a level seven lawful neutral human wizard with:
    Strength 12
    Dex 9
    Con 13
    Int 16
    Wis 16
    Cha 11

The Angelfire test says my stats are:

    Strength 8
    Dex 5
    Con 10
    Int 13/14
    Wis 15
    Cha 12

I like how the Angelfire test actually tests your intelligence instead of letting you rate yourself. However, it equates intelligence with quantitative ability, which is fine, but it equates wisdom with verbal ability and spatial insight, which I'm not too sure is a good way to measure wisdom. Wisdom is an elusive quality to define, though, so at least it tests objectively without relying on the subject's self-image.

My favorite classes to play are cleric-mage, mage, and sorcerer, so my real life stats kind of fit. I also like to play bards, because I'm a musician in real life, but my wimpy charisma would prevent me from that profession in a D&D world. That kind of makes sense, though, because bards are not just musicians - they are performers and storytellers who count on their strength of personality to survive - which is definitely not me.
