Yep, I've done my duty to break as many rules as I can...except I haven't found anyone to insult directly.
*ponder* Oh well, I'll save that for the next thread.

On a more serious note, for anyone running across this, a word of advice I got a long time ago on a forum far, far away...
-----------
Feel free to disagree with someone's IDEA but never disagree with the person writing it. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and no one is an expert on the internet.
Telling someone you think their idea is junk is fine, telling someone that THEY are junk is absolutely not. Keep disagreements civil by understanding going in to it that your idea may not be the idea of the person after you...don't get personally offended when someone disagrees with you and don't try to offend when you disagree. Your ego is not tarnished if someone tells you they don't like your idea...if it gets that way, it's your failing, not theirs.
If you try to correct everyone who is wrong on the internet you're going to spend the rest of your life wallowing in the cesspit that is humanity. It's okay for them to be wrong, and it's okay for them to be right also.
Enjoy your time here and help the rest of us enjoy your time here also.
Is there a method on the forums of blocking posts that we can see on the forums, for our account only?
For instance, if there is another member whose comments you find so unacceptable that you don't want access to them on an individual basis, but you welcome discussion with everyone else.
I think this will be a win-win situation - the moderators don't have to ban the poster in question (for whatever reason) and you as an individual don't have to put up with their particular 'argument'.

Not naming any names, of course
