#7376 [CORE] - Lothander poison

Hi. Lothander warned me i'd be poisonsed in baldurs gate. I brushed him off because it sounded like a scam. Several days later i get a message upon waking up that i feel vomity and the poison is in fact real and only Lothander has the cure. He wont talk to me! only says his 'life is in shambles'. There are lots of threads on this quest but none seem to address this scenario. Marek is not in blushing mermaid and basically i cannot get any initiation of the quest (nothing is in my journal, diviner has no options about who has cure). Am i screwed? Anyone else brush off Lothander and live? Thanks.

Hmm. Odd. The lothandermove variable was set to 9. Not sure how that happened. Possibly had something to do with chapter transition... Anyway I fixed your game. Lothander will talk to you now if you go find him again.

I am actually having the same problem here, can someone help me out? i did the same thing rattus did and blew him off thinking it was some dumb scam, and now he wont talk to me , and im poisoned

@Rage_entreri upload your save game and I will fix it for you. I have a hunch as to why this is happening now so I may be able to report it... If I am correct that is.

@Rage_entreri I know what is causing this and I am fairly certain it is a bug. I will report it in the bug tracker once I have time.

Hey I'm having this exact same problem and I was wondering if anyone could fix it for me? I would be eternally grateful as I have stupidly been using autosaves and quicksaves for a while (My last save I could revert to is about 8 hours of gameplay ago!).

Ok, many of you seem to be experiencing this problem so rather than giving you all fish I am going to teach you to fish so you can fix this yourself without my help. If you are experiencing this problem then enable the debug mode for your game, open the console in your affected game and type in the following (case sensitive):

C:SetGlobal("lothandermove","GLOBAL",3)

After doing this Lothander should be able to talk to you again.
