Most diagrams of the Solar System have the Sun taking up a good portion of the picture. In reality, although the Sun is much larger than any of the planets, it is tiny compared to the distances between the planets.
I made a diagram of the inner Solar System where the size of the Sun is to scale with the distances between the planets. The Sun is one pixel. Here it is:
And here's a diagram I made that includes all the known planets.
