Skeleton Haiku Challenge

The only real rules are:

1) ~That the word "skeleton" or "skeletons" must appear in either line 2 or 3.
2) ~The first line must have 4-6 syllables
3) ~The second line must have 7-9 syllables
4) ~The third [final] line must have 4-6 syllables.
5) ~Title optional

Ideally some reference to either a season of year or a Chapter in Baldur's Gate should be included.

1. -WHILE COLLECTING 10 SCALPS ON THE BEREGOST ROAD

Suddenly two dead wolves
Surrounded by Skeletons,
~WTF, Not too shabby!!

    @MacHurto: Almost happened this playthrough on an idle day after Bandit Camp when I was clearing out Inventory on a visit to Thalantyr. My F/M Charname had begun the day in Borland's safe-house by shedding his armor to Identify some items. ~Ooooops!!

    Town 'n' city fear crazed,

    The dead he raised,
    To serve his purpose, pulse-less,
    Slaves to be used,

    A dark abode,
    He wished and bone builteth,
    Pyramidal harth,

    Delighted arcane,
    Sparked from fingers aged,
    Power consumed,

    They all bowed down,
    To the Mummies undead crown,
    The living laid low,

    Millennia pass,
    Boredom and time encroached,
    Pyramid prison,

    Paladanic ruse,
    Formed perfect excuse,
    To escape running!

    And still he roams,
    A Gnome dead but not withered,
    Sneer transfixed,

    Mummy died to rule,
    Wishes armageddon to,
    Civilization.

    ...
