#7837 [CORE] - Gauntlets of extraordinary specialisation and crossbows

When a crossbow is equipped, the apr of Dorn with spec in crossbows and gauntlets is stated to be 5/2.
Re-equipping the gauntlets changes the value to 3, although testing has revealed that his apr is still at 5/2, and if one goes back to the character sheet, it shows 5/2 again.

    Crossbows set APR at 1, fighter class bonus APR are applied as well as the half APR form specialization.
    I see the bug but I think that this has been always and with all the ranged weapons.

    I gave the gloves to Hexxat with a throwing dagger, and apr went to 5/2 and stayed that way regardless of any other actions. The same behaviour as described in the OP is replicated with a shortbow, however.

    That is another thing, Throwing daggers actually use the add APR and not the set APR value.

    So this only happens with any launcher type weapons then (crossbows, long/short bows, and slings)?

    With everything that is tagged with the value of the add APR effect opcode to 'Set'.
