Thogh i dont know what is the miniature giant space hamster life-span
Long story short, Minsc falls through time with Boo Or you could do something like having him getting stuck in some sort of stasis prison thing, and you free him! There's totally like a million ways you could have a reunion with Minsc and Boo!
I'm really looking forward to the new characters that have been introduced in BGEE and have no problem ditching Minsc for them, if just to see what they're like.

I voted "No" because of two reasons:
A) Let's not run the joke into the ground. Minsc is awesome but if BG3 has him as a joinable NPC or whatever, he'll overshadow the rest of the cast and it will quickly become 'The Minsc and Boo show'. He's popular but let's not drain him ov everything that made him special (Look at what this train of thought has done to Star Wars darnit)
Considering it's most likely set a hundred years in the future, Minsc is dead, Boo is deader. Bringing him back seems even more like fanservice.
I'd like it if, in a tavern, we heard bards sing age-old songs of the brave Rashemi berserker Minsc and his faithful hamster companion (then again, how old do hamsters get? I doubt Boo has much time left after the adventure).
Anyway, a reference like that, maybe a statue if we visit Rashemen in BG3 (I doubt the country has had many lvl30 ranger/berserkers).
No NPC, no encounters with him, not even wacky relatives who for some reason also buy into the rodent story, he's dead and has his run. Let's honour his memory, not try and bring him back to life by shoehorning him into everything we can.
Does Wizards have a no-unsupported rulesets rule (no pun intended)? Because I'm really not a fan of 4th Ed. 3rd is okay, but if it were up to me it would be all about 2nd Ed. Maybe that's just my inner fanboy nerdgasming.
