Riddles

So, one of the many things due to i really like BG is the great riddles and puzzles. I have spent a lot of time to solve them back, when i didn't have internet connection, just the game discs, and i didn't know what the word metagaming mean. With them the game is much richer and enjoyful. Share your favourits, those that you liked the most, which was the most mind blowing or the most entertaining!

My top is the Watcher's Keep fourth level, where you must light the cauldrons in the right order with the three coloured oils. After i found the three oils and the sticks i explore the whole area again, but couldn't find anything else. In the end i tried to light the cauldrons systematic (there are 6561 possible way maybe? You can close out a few likely...), but after some time i gave up. A couple of days later i went back to the game and just saw the two adjacent rooms to the lum of the mad on the area map... Oooh man, it can't be so simple!
To solve this on my own was a big adventure:)

I can have no color, though there may be darknes within. I have no weight and hold nothing, and if placed in a container it becomes all the lighter. - This is one of my favorites, because it's obvious once you think of it.

My favorite riddle is the one imp in watchers keep. I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was the one about the brothers and sisters.

I liked Myst and Riven a lot. I forgot when I first beat those games but I know I did it when I was really young.

I remember the bridge one giving me chills a few times. Especially when I heavily roleplay, because storming through just doesn't have the "oh gods what a creepy CREEPY place" feeling.
These ten times cursed Gauths after that, though...

@iuventas, yeah that's my favourite too. The primal wisdom contained in the answer just fits perfectly in the setting, right before meeting the avatar of one of Faerun's greater deities.

The bridge on was awesome. I was able to figure that one out instead of googling it and I felt good about myself :P

I'm not sure why, but that one has always stuck with me. It's my favorite riddle.

Riddles were clever, and brought to the game some great variety. I somewhat hated them, because most of them forced me to use a walkthrough. I really liked the riddle in the asylum with putting those items in right order.

They actually just came out with an enhanced version of Myst this year. Its called RealMyst: Masterpiece Edition (I think its mostly graphical enhancements).

I've liked the riddles from Might & Magic X:
