after i find a trap how do i disarm it? is there a guide for thief abilities?

    Use the same button (the one that looks like an infinite or maybe an 8) as the one you use to pick pockets and open locks--but over the detected trap/

    Once the trap glows red, select your thieving icon (which is the infinity sign) and hover it over the trap. You'll see your mouse icon change. Click and your thief will attempt to remove it.

    Perfectly correct. That infinity sign's a mask.

    You guys all missed one but important advice:

    As soon as you find a trap, DON'T MOVE! Only AFTER YOU click an icon to disarm a trap, your character should move.

    There're been hundreds of times when I triggered a trap after finding it...

    IMPORTANT [especially for no-reload runs]

    Set Auto-Pause ON for "Trap Found" in options!
