How come when I roll a 20 to hit him, it says "Critical hit averted by helmet" but when he finally drops, there's no helmet?

Weird, right?

    He's gotta show off his pretty white locks!!

    He actually has an invisible helmet and undroppable boots of speed... because Drizzt is annoying like that.

    Very annoying. Why can't he just die and give up his loot like every other enemy?

    Why was Drizzt made so hard to kill in the first place. Did Wotc or Salvatore make Black Isle do that.

    Probably. I mean, he's like, a max level character with literally the best gear in the game, save for the armor (and it's still pretty damn good).

    His helmet is another scimitar.

    Literally.

    Add him to your party with control+Q with the cheat keys activated. He literally wears his second scimitar on his head :O

    Wand of paralysation until it sticms then kill him.
