I know that Germany is still very big in Adventure Games, so I guess one explanation could be that here, as well as maybe in the rest of Europe, we appreciate a good story. And Baldur's Gate definitely has an awesome story. It is so good in fact, that I do *NOT* want a sequel. Because a sequel would ruin this perfect story. If anything, I want a game *like* Baldur's Gate. But never a sequel.
Wow, I was sure a great group of people were from the USA, but then again it shows what a western bias I have cooped up in my head. It's refreshing to see a great base of people from Europe and other nations as well.
