Somehow I foresaw most would be from Europe and North America...

But regardless, I am from Finland.

I think that the topic is pretty much the same, so I would merge this poll...

You can't merge polls but you can just bump it.

I'm assuming though that it doesn't add the votes from the one poll into the other (the recent people who are registering as having voted could very well have already voted in the older poll). That was really more what I was getting at.

When I don't come from Australia, I arrive unbidden, behind the door of a thought you don't intend to open. You didn't hear me knock but you know I'm there, not for an announced presence or even the sought-for signs that something exists opposite that thin film of wood. You don't know I'm gone until you let me in, and then there are no doors, but a comfortable, captivating ignorance in their place. It is easy to see in black and white when holding the scraps of a candle, but the world is larger than the ground at your feet and no knowledge from bearers fore or post is bright enough to illuminate every nook. The more you search the less you find you know. Better to rest against a door unopened? I do, and if I am especially quiet I can hear your furtive movements within.

So, that's where I play Baldur's Gate from, a Cthulhu-esque, cynical perspective of the quest for knowledge that employs far more words than is generally acceptable to simply communicate "ignorance is bliss, but maybe not?". I blame an abundance of time, an uncommonly cold winter and a beach a short walk away.

Well most people in my country don't buy from GOG so Asia 2% is acceptable.

They only buy games on hard copy.

Wow I am surprised Europeans dominate this forum. I thought D&D was an American game.

Well technically I am British, but I am Chinese and it looked like Asia needed a bit of a boost :D
