OK, thanks for responding. I'll be sure to look for any further updates on the paladin tweaks.

    Great work!

I just tried to install the Loresinger of Milil and got this error:
    ERROR: error loading [SoB/profs/baspl1.txt]
ERROR: [D5_CHORI.2da] -> [override] Patching Failed (COPY) (Unix.Unix_error(20, "stat", "SoB/profs/baspl1.txt"))
    Stopping installation because of error.

    Excellent Mod!

FYI - I don't know if this is considered a bug or intended because I know you did some Wizard Spell Changes. I installed BG2 Tweaks and SoB to IWD:EE. Choosing a Fighter / Mage / Cleric I can select Nahal's Reckless Dweomer. I can cast the spell and it appears to use the Wild Surge table but I don't know if it uses the Caster Level +/- 5 at least it doesn't say in the chat box like in BG2. Of course I'm guessing I shouldn't be able to select it anyway.

Well its an excellent mod. The story doesn't change (BG2EE) and the combat is roughly the same (though much improved by SCS and a few others). The real change in play is self-challenges and new kits and I love your philosophy of PNP is great, but gameplay is more important.

    ---

I just did a test on my IWD:EE Install (Steam on Win 8.1).

With JUST BG2Tweaks installed, the Wild Mage spell is not selectable. With JUST SoB 2.1.1 installed (I just selected Install All) it is selectable. This is just me trying Dwarf > FMC I didn't do any other test.

Edit: The attachments didn't link into the images to work so I used IMGUR.

This image should be BG2 Tweaks v16 on IWD:EE

Either way I thought it might have been intended because of the spell reshuffle so I picked it. Always makes for an interesting Solo Play-through, the Wild Surges and with an FMC to boot.

@subtledoctor just to let you know, the link in this thread is outdated. Maybe remove it so people will allways use the one in the actual thread. Thanks :)

I will post some feedback here (because I finaly startet playing IWD) ;)

I found some minor issues (only SoB installed at the moment):

    - MONITOR OF MYSTRA is missing some of the wizards spells at lvl 1 I only have Magic Missle, Identify is missing (will check if more are missing when I lvl up). Ok leveld up, Minor Spell deflection is also missing.

    - MONITOR OF MYSTRA get an innate that has no name and looks like a magic item slot (D5_CLSP1 in EE Keeper)

    - Mage/Fighter Multi does not get all the profiences (only the mages ones), is that intended (I remember reading something about Multiclass profiences issues).

But no big deal so far.

my congratulations to this mod, I have finished iwd with it and i really enjoyed my run, it is very helpful to regroup curved sword together, the lack of katana would have made it really painful with only one warrior. my thief mage could solo a badly wounded orc without running in circle waiting for the war to finish him off and i mean by that the possibility of going specialized. This give a new dimension on a micro aspect.

Did enjoy the shapeshifter a lot. I think this mod is better with about everything than the original game. It makes small party much more fun to play. keep going, what about 1.4 compatibility? gg

Elven High Mage seems to have banned Abjuration school - intended?

Only yours and House Rules which doesn't have component which alters spell schools. Unless it does so off-screen.

EDIT: Actually I just tried to create a new character and Illusionist does indeed have two banned schools. There was even a thread about it:

@subtledoctor Can you please explain how your proficiency system mechanics work? The v3.1 readme states:

    Proficiency benefits:
    – ** = +1 thac0, +1/2 APR
    – *** = +2 thac0 and +1 damage total, +1/2 APR at level 11
    – **** = +2 thac0 and +2 damage total, +1/2 APR at level 7
    – ***** = +3 thac0 and +4 damage total, +1/2 APR at level 15

but in game the proficiency description says:
    – ** = +1 thac0, +1/2 APR
    – *** = +1 thac0, +1 damage, +1/2 APR from level 11
    – **** = +1 thac0, +1 damage, +1/2 APR at level 7
    – ***** = +1 thac0, +2 damage, +1/2 APR at level 15

This damage adds up, but the thac0 doesn't. Is the ending thac0 +3 or +4? I am a little confused about the APR from level x thing. So do you end up with a total of +2 APR at grandmastery?

@subtledoctor I'm having some issues with APR properly calculating in my game after installing your proficiency component. I probably screwed it somehow with other mods, but please help if you can.

I did have some BG2 Tweaks proficiency components installed, 'true grandmastery' and 'universal clubs', but uninstalled them due to this issue. I do NOT install your 'warrior class tweaks' or 'rogue class tweaks' but I did install your divine and wizard tweaks and also installed all of your kits.

    Examples:

My level 13 Dwarven Defender has only 2.5 APR with grandmastery in axes. He should have 3.5 APR, 1 Base + 1 from being a level 13 fighter class + 1.5 from proficiencies, right?

My level 13 Battleguard of Tempos has only 1 APR with mastery in axes. He should have 2 APR, 1 Base + 1 from proficiencies, right?

My level 13 Archer (this one is the most messed up) has 3 APR with grandmastery in bows. She should have 4.5 APR, 2 Base (bow) + 1 from being a level 13 fighter class + 1.5 from proficiencies. In addition, when I equip a bow that gives a base 3 APR, I STILL have only 3 APR!

My Level 11 / 13 Illusionist Thief has only 1.5 APR with master in bows. He should have 3 APR, 2 Base (bow) + 1 from proficiencies, right?

ALL of my characters for some reason get 1/2 APR (!!!) when they equip slings and crossbows that they are proficient with, even my Dwarven Defender.

Something is wrong, not sure what's going on, please help.

I see, thanks for the response. I ended up uninstalling this specific component and using EE Keeper to modify proficiencies based on the rules that I personally am biased towards. I think your attempt at making the proficiencies more realistic is good, and I do like many of your rules, but I didn't agree with all of them, and unfortunately one must either accept all of them or none of them. If possible and practical, it would be good to see this component broken down into multiple parts, just a thought. Thanks!

@subtledoctor can you provide me the details to your component "220: Standardized XP Tables". I just want to some comparing of your tables and vanilla, thanks.
