Where did they go?

Hey everyone! I am new here and I have been having an issue with BG:EE. When moving between areas on the map I sometimes lose a party member. I have all characters selected and when I move to the edge of the area I am in and try to go to the next one I sometimes lose a party member. If I go back to the previous area they are not there. I have lost Neera and Imoen in this way and had to load saved games to get them back. Any ideas?

    They vanish from your party completely? So their picture isn't down the right side of your screen?

    Is your game edited or modded in any way. & is it pc/mac/etc. and purchased from Beamdog/Steam/etc.

    You'll probably have an auto-save made before the transition. Next time it happens could you make a save afterwards then zip and attach both the auto-save and the later save here for investigation.
