I'm still waiting for folks - without going on a nonsensical rant - to tell me what SJW-bullshit was in SoD. There was one NPC, that you can avoid/ignore, who claimed to be transgender. Meh. Who cares?
Why stop there? People could safely ignore the entire expansion all together... and loose out on exactly squat.
Actually? As in a "fact"? Wow, really, that's... yeah. Sure.
I'll grant you that the whole transgendered and SJW debate was blown way out of proportion. That part of it was so utterly marginal, bland and uninteresting, that any sane person wouldn't even shrug, but move on.
Which was kinda the defining feature of SoD in general. Any Beamdog-made expansion to a, say, theoretical IWD2:EE (or IWD:EE, for that matter, if they ever get it together and publish something new for IWD:EE, which IMO is long overdue) would have to be everything SoD was not.
So sayeth the wise Credit Card. And that one doesn't lie.
You really need to learn to avoid talking down to folks who disagree with you, bud.
Siege of Dragonspear did a good job of filling in the gaps and presenting an interesting campaign. Its only problem was the fact that it was a very narrow story due to when it happened, in between the two BGs. But it was certainly more interesting than either of the original BG expansions (both of which felt like giving one an oatmeal cookie after they just ate a juicy steak).
I wish i could change my vote. I an loving IWD 2. I mean some parts i don't know what to do, but overall, the game is much more hard than nwn1, at least to solo and i love it.
Ever since I saw EE versions of Baulders and Icewind Dale I have wanted Icewind dale II in an Enhanced version. I love all these games and have the original disks and guides for them. I have been playing D&D since it came out (Table Top) and Computer/console games since they came out, played pool of radiance on my commodore 64...(Yep I am dating myself). So I hope they come up with Icewind II to complete the Icewind series for us!

It is a nice game, undoubtedly better than ToB (ToSC stays above only due to Durlag's Tower IMHO), but with a very poor plot.
Nice quests, nice items, nice NPCs, but SoD's narrative is painful.
