Once you've acquired Wylfdene's Tribal Insignia from his tomb below, you can show it to Hjollder and point out that it has been defaced for another 420,000 experience points. Hjollder confirms that Wylfdene would have never defaced such a sacred object, which makes him realize that the king is definitely an impostor.
I have the item, killed woman who had the insignia, but Hjollder still wont initiate the conversation to get him out?

    The insignia comes from the tomb, not the woman.

    Yes, agreed, I have the insignia, but she is supposed to tell me. My conversations with Hjollder always end with me saying I will speak to the spirits of the Island, but there is nobody to talk to (thought it came from the conversation with her), but may be wrong, but nobody left on the Island.

    Did you spoke with the banshee before you killed her? She has some explanation and then warns you to leave the island. You can then refuse and kill her. If you blast her area from afar with fireballs you won't get the chance to speak with her.

    You need to do two things to get Hjollder to leave Burial Isle. First, you need to convince him that Wylfdene's spirit is not Jerrod. You can do this either by learning it from the spirits of the isle (the shamans, the bear spirit or the wailing virgins) or by having a paladin in your party. Secondly, he wants proof, which is the tribal talisman in the tomb.

    I have the talisman already, but did blast her (Banshee) from afar! I dont have a Paladin, so are guessing I'm stuck? I have no save from before then, as I assumed it was all done and have done ToL since, before going back. Is there any way I can get her back? Shamans, bear spirit are all long dead. The wailing virgins dont give me any conversation to get that information??
    Is there any way I can add the banshee? Or Polar Spirit?

    I had spoken to the Polar bear and all others before fighting and killing them, but he didnt say anything (I had not got to Hjollder by this point). I thought it would "right" itself after doing Luremaster, but gone back and cant get the game to move on. Also the werewolf in the village, as much as Ive seen it (once) the storyline is not moving on, so guess I may have to start again and fingers crossed its right by the time I get to that point again??None of the others spirits mentioned wylfdenes spirit...
    I was trying to see if there was a code (through C:) that I could bring back the Banshee or one of the others who chats, to no avail thus far.

    the undead on the docks (I think) mention how wrong the place is as does the necromancer guy

    What docks? Necromancer in the tower mentions them but doesnt open the storyline, I have gone back to him to make sure, to no avail.
    I'm gonna head to bed, hoping their will be a solution by tomorrow, been at this all night trying to figure it. If not by Saturday, seems I may have to start the game again.lol

    Apart from the guy in the tower, random re-appearing wailing virgins and drowned dead, everybody else is dead.
    Can I not just carry on to area (Gloomfrost - 9500) without the story with Hjollder ending?

    Considering it's Hjollder who gives you the map marker for the Gloomfrost, no. If you're resorting to the console to fix things, use CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("Know_Soul","GLOBAL",1) then talk to Hjollder.

    While it is not intended that you kill every spirit without asking them questions, I have reported this as #10832. It should be possible to progress since the option to avoid questioning the spirits is there. :-)

    If you have Debug Mode enabled, you can set the necessary variables and journal entry with the following.

    Variable:
    C:SetGlobal("KNOW_SOUL","GLOBAL",1)
    Journal Entry:
    C:Eval("AddJournalEntry(34114,QUEST)")
    If you do not have Debug Mode enabled, or would rather not, then you can upload a saved game and I'll fix it for you.
