Sword of Arvoreen description should include the strength requirement
Affected string: 8481
Mazzy's personal short sword, the Sword of Arvoreen +2, requires a minimum strength of 5, the same as other short swords. However, this strength requirement is not mentioned in the sword's description. Other weapons, including special NPC weapons, have their requirements listed. The description should therefore include the following statement:
Golden lion figurine, Joolon attacks twice per round at 1d12+2 (piercing). (39654) must be 3 attacks per round (Joolon hasted) and Joolon have immunity to normal weapons which should be mentioned i think.
@Dee Hi. I can't launch the BG2EE launcher on Win PC to update to v1.3. It's stucked with the "getting download info" for several hours... Uninstalled the whole game and downloaded from the beamdog.com the installer - still nothing. Stucked. Never happened to me before.
The BG1EE launcher works fine (checks and overwrites files).

@Genryu Have you ever used the spear? Its base damage is 1d6+3, yeah, but it does an additional and separate 10 piercing damage with each hit. This is similar to how the Spear of Withering +4 does 1d6+4 base damage with an additional and separate 4 poison damage with each hit. The Impaler is definitely functioning correctly and as intended, it just has a slightly incorrect description.
The bonus damage in both cases does not show up on the inventory damage calculation. This is also normal.
@Jalily Oh... Right. It does, say that now doesn't it? I hadn't really checked since the update and got a bit confused by the above comments. It does indeed currently have an accurate description.
The Impaler's current description reads, "Damage: 1d6+3, +10 piercing damage." Are you on version 1.3?
To be honest I'm not sure, I cant find a version number anywhere. Has their been an update in the past 4 weeks? That's when I purchased my copy of the enhanced edition (Which I am assuming would be sold as the most up to date version?)

If you can't find a version number, you're probably not on 1.3, as the latest version displays the number at the top of the first screen. In 1.2, you had to load a game and open the Options menu.
- Wolf form ( one of the transformations available to Druids): the description states: " Strength 18/00"; it should state: " Strength 18". This issue also affects the Giant Troll form ( from the 9th level spell "Shapechange").
- Mind Flayer form ( from the 9th level spell " Shapechange "), psionic blast ability: there is no description if you right-click on the proper icon.
Not sure this is the correct thread for foreign text errors.
In German Strref 72532 is factually incorrect.
„Abi-Dalzims abscheuliche Austrocknung“ wird auf jedem im Wirkungsbereich gewirkt, außer auf die Gruppe.
It basically says cast Horrid Wilting on everyone EXCEPT the party. It should say that this includes all party members instead. Also "jedem" should be "jeden". This would be correct:
„Abi-Dalzims abscheuliche Austrocknung“ wird auf jeden im Wirkungsbereich gewirkt, einschließlich aller Gruppenmitglieder.
Dagger +1 should have proper "magical" description (16293) The typical dagger has a pointed, usually double-edged blade, as opposed to a knife, which has a single edge and is a bit shorter. This particular dagger is magical, having special bonuses to its speed, accuracy, and damage.
Anomen/Hexxat conflict, Anomen departing the party:
"You not only ally yourself with an undead, you would raise your hand against me? This vampire has gotten under your skin, CHARNAME, though not as deeply as my sword will."
Anomen is a cleric. He cannot use swords, nor is he proficient with swords.
Hexxat/Viconia Banter. Hexxat states: "A woman must work doubly hard to make their way in this world."
I appreciate that she's trying to get in Viconia's pants, but seriously? This is not true to the setting in two senses.
First, the Forgotten Realms has an egalitarian society that is only "twice as hard" in the fact that they have half as many romantic interests. Men and women have identical stats, and gender roles are fluid and flexible in the majority of the realms. This crops up repeatedly in the 3.0 Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (gender divides crop up very little in the earlier editions except for women showing up alongside men in all walks of life), with the vast, vast majority of cultures showing up with men and women serving equally in many different roles, and the main mention of gender politics being:
The Heartlands of Faerun are generally enlightened and liberal regarding gender roles. Women are as free as men to own property, run businesses, and run off to become adventurers. Many of Faerun's most powerful heroes are women. Some societies observe strict codes of gender conduct (some matriarchal, not patriarchal), but this is not the case in most of Faerun.
Hexxat complaining about women having it harder than men rings hollow, especially when even the human settlements of Chult don't have a rigid gender hierarchy.
Secondly, Hexxat is saying this to a Drow, who is from a proud, brutal matriarchy where females hold absolute power over lowly males, something that crops up repeatedly both while travelling through Ust Natha and in Viconia's own romance. Why is she entertaining this odd notion that lowly males have it easier? She has literally seen the opposite proven time and time again, and I cannot see her, in character, taking this comment as anything but an insult.
Periapt of Proof Against Poison (39612) This periapt is a large gemstone hanging on a thick golden chain. Eunuchs from Kara-Tur would wear (wore) (was wearing) this particular periapt when sampling their emperor's food.

HELP!
Damage is listed as 1d6 +13 on the item description. It should be 1d6 +3 (That's the bonus that is actually given at least)
1d6+3 +10 bonus piercing damage
I made an assumption that it was supposed to be a 1d6 +3 damage weapon because:
1) Its a +3 weapon
2) 1d6 +3 is the actual damage the weapon grants when equipped.
The bonus damage in both cases does not show up on the inventory damage calculation. This is also normal.
Where did you buy your copy?
I got my copy from Good Old Games, I just checked back and there is a separate 1.3 patch download that I must have totally missed.
Again sorry to be a bother, going to keep my mouth zipped in future.
