I love Wands of Fire

So, I started out my Fighter/Illusionist run in a kind of hoardy fashion. Now that I'm towards the end of the game, I've been a little more liberal with using items, especially wands.
And holy crap, making explosions on command is pretty awesome. I've basically exploded my way through the Candlekeep Tunnels and Durlag's Tower. It turns out getting a checkmate is pretty easy when you can toast the enemy king from across the room.
So, yeah. Just thought I'd share how much I love these things.

It took me ages to realise you can also use the wands as a Agannazar's Scorcher for when a little more accuracy and finesse is required. But most of the time it's fun to just blow stuff up.
The wand of fire is the ultimate damage dealing item and is very easy to get. With it, memorizing damage dealing spells on your arcane casters is a waste.
The scorcher is actually much stronger than the fireball since it does better damage (and it does it twice) and has much better precision.
Fireballs and science is fun!
