I love Wands of Fire

So, I started out my Fighter/Illusionist run in a kind of hoardy fashion. Now that I'm towards the end of the game, I've been a little more liberal with using items, especially wands.

And holy crap, making explosions on command is pretty awesome. I've basically exploded my way through the Candlekeep Tunnels and Durlag's Tower. It turns out getting a checkmate is pretty easy when you can toast the enemy king from across the room.

So, yeah. Just thought I'd share how much I love these things.

There's nothing more satisfying than blowing away an entire army of attackers with one or two good fireballs!

I was sad when I found out my monk couldn't use wands of fire in my solo run. And then I found The One Gift Lost which was an amulet that did the same thing. But yeah, Wands of Cheese are good in BG1.

Paralysation, Fire, Lightning, you name it. These are my favourite lollipops.

Wand of Lightning - great, but not to be used in cramped spaces.
