HP Display

Hi there - I just started up BG2EE for the first time since the patch came out. I noticed upon reloading old games the rather interruptive and ugly HP display on character portraits upon the right-hand pane of the interface, and could not find an option to disable it in the 'Options - Graphics' or 'Options - Gameplay' screens.
What do I do to get rid of it? Thanks in advance for responses.

'Game Options', 'Show Character HP', '0',
There is also another option showing the HP (over the "sprites") if set to 1
'Game Options', 'HP Over Head', '0',
Is the option broken?
SetPrivateProfileString('Game Options','HP Over Head','0')
Is that exactly the same as you have?
Here is the line (copy pasted):
SetPrivateProfileString('Game Options','HP Over Head','0')
Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition
for BGEE and SoD
Documents\Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition
for BG2EE
Other than that I'm out of ideas. Perhaps @Gate70 can help.
At a guess based on character names also showing, I would say you have the Reveal Details icon active.
With that disabled, you should see these behaviours depending on LUA setting and use of TAB key.
Yes, I am editing the correct file.
Please take a look:
I disable the "Reveal Details" button, then I press TAB.
But I get both the names and the HP over their heads.
I was expecting to only get their names.
This is not working for me :-(
- the 'show character HPs' setting in the LUA file is associated with whether HPs show on the character portraits on the right hand side of the main screen, not the overhead information (you can also set this within the game from the graphics settings).
- the 'HP over head' setting shows HPs above heads constantly.
- I think the information you're seeing is only shown when you press tab (or have the reveal details button active). This information is the same irrespective of the LUA settings.
All the HP numbers make it hard to play with "Reveal Details" on.
Can I request this somewhere as a new feature?
