When are they ever going to patch BG2 EE

Have they decided to grace us poor peons with a patch to fix the very broken thief class on backstabs and other things that become broken when dual from thief to other classes. Same goes for bards when playing regular game and not multiplayer game, the song yes it is broken. Too bad a good company couldn't have the reworks.

Have you tried the latest (1.3.2064) version of BG2:EE? The game as smooth as it could be.

What particular bugs are you referring to? Have you made any bug reports if they are there?

The list of known issues http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/37852/list-of-known-issues-read-this-first#latest doesn't mention anything related to backstabs and playing bards.

Those sound like very old bugs. I can only assume that you are talking about the shadowdancer backstab progression... Check to make sure your game is at the latest version.

Yea I can't confirm either of these issues.
