    Not the double amulet part. I meant that this quest as a whole has been buggy for 17 years.

    @Alceryes: I started a new game on a fresh install, and only found one. You must've had some stuff still in the wrong place.

    @ALIEN: Unfortunately, due to hardware issues, AstroBryGuy is currently unable to properly provide new releases.

    After installing UB and starting a new game, there is still only one amulet.

    After installing NPC Project as well and starting a new game, there are two amulets. Thus, NPC Project is creating the duplicate.

    EE fixed it by deactivating the original area script file. Unfortunately, the code was left in the .bcs file. BG1NPC reactivated the area script file, so the code now runs. The next version will False() that script block.

    I can't test the changes right now. After a recent crash, my laptop is freezing up intermittently (hey it's 8 years old). I haven't even reloaded any EE games for testing. (I'm waiting for the new MacBook Pro models to be released.)

    If anyone wants to test the master branch, go ahead. If it works, I can make a new release. I just don't want to make a "release" if it hasn't been tested.

    I'm having troubles :C.

    I have BG1NPC installed with soem other mods, I'll list them here in THE ORDER I INSTALL THEM.

    Mod merge
    BG1NPC
    BG1NPC Music
    Unfinished Business
    Romantic Encounters
    Mini Quests & Encounters
    SOD GUI++
    Minor NPC Portraits

    My problem is that this mod doesn't seem to work properly with this setup. It starts out working fine, Imoen's first two scenes, about traveling the road, and asking if I'm ok, both triggered in candle keep coast way, the Gorion burial scene triggered fine. All the scenes that are tied to an event such as Imoen's added lines when the Old wizard talks to you at the crossroads, or her extra lines when talking to Xzar and Montaron.

    HOWEVER, once i reached the crossroads I saved and exited my game. When I loaded it back up I adventured all around the crossroads, which took atleast 20 minutes. I then left eh game running for an hour UNpaused to test. I have Xzar and Monty in my party but none of them said anything in an hour and 20 minutes, and I have the banter timing set at 27 minutes. Generally on older playthroughs with less mods Monty would have the next scene where he talks about draining some rabbits to eat for supper.. but that scene and or any others never seem to trigger.

    Any help would be great. I'm running the latest version of BGEE with SOD and I installed it fresh, then used mod merge, then installed all my mods.

    @Dameon2 I don't know if this is how its supposed to work everytime. But, I've only gotten the first 2 or 3 Xzar/Monty lines after resting.

    ya i tried resting too, im gunna do a fresh install delete my documents and start a new games and only install BGNPC. at the very least its the best mod so i can probably live without the others this time.

    Ok got it working. I reinstalled and deleted the documents folder and started a new game. All seems well, I didn't install Romantic encounter or Mini quests and encounters this time around tho. I figure Romantic encounters is the most likely culprit for causing problems, and I can do without it.

    Argh... a bug with the Romance Challenges dragons slipped through.

    Great mod but I have a problem.
    I'm using a clean instal (BGEE) and only bg1npc
    All of the updated portraits (npcs and party npcs) are huge! Both in the dialog window and on the party selection screen. I only see a top left corner of the portrait.

    I receive an error for The BG1 NPC project: Banters, Quests, and interjections
    "Error locating resource for APPEND
    resource ITEM_USE.2DA not found in key file ./chitin.key

    Installing NPCs can be sent to wait in an inn also receives an error msg
    Invalid_argument "index out of bounds"

    Faster banter receives an error: Failure "resource banttimg.2da not found for COPY

    and Player initiated dialogs receive a warning: cannot verify action `runawayfromnoleavearea player 1,50

    What am I doing wrong?

    @fetfreak - You have a very old version of BGEE. You'll need at least version BGEE v1.3 to install BG1NPC.

    v22.7 is released to fix a problem with some BMP file image headers.

    I wanted to say thank you as well. This mod has been one of the best ones I've had the pleasure to play back in the old BGT days, I can't wait to see what has been changed up for EE.

    Glad you're enjoying it!

    No new content. Compatibility fixes, typo fixes, and bug fixes mostly.

    v22.8 is released to fix a problem the Faldorn - Izefia quest. This release also deprecates the Non-Joinable NPC Portraits component to comply with copyright issues.

    THis is on a clean game and is the first mod, by itself.( V22.7 installed fine before this one-uninstalled beforehand of course)
    Only this section had errors by the way.

    @AstroBryGuy is it possible to aply only Faldorn-Izefia bug fix for 22.7? I do want to use the depreciated component. If so, how can I do it?

    Sorry, I tested v22.8 before uploading, and didn't see this error. I've tracked it down and uploaded a new set of packages on GitHub.

    Copy the bg1npc/phase2/portraits directory from v22.7 to the same location in v22.8.
    Remove the "DEPRECATED" command from the non-joinable NPC portraits section in setup-bg1npc.tp2.
