I have no idea whether this will actually work but here goes.

I'm going to post a funny insult (or close enough) from a sitcom or anything else with a funny insult. Your job is to think of a fitting comeback (doesn't have to be from the same show) to respond with (nothing offensive please, I don't expect anyone will do on this forum but if it gets too heated I'll get the thread closed).

the person who replies to that insult gets to post the next one.

I'll try to keep track of the really good ones but don't expect a proper score system.

also If you want to guess where insults have come from that's fine too.

also also Post your comeback before thinking of an insult otherwise you'll be ninja'd

    I get the feeling this will be harder for me. American sitcoms are not known for witty comebacks and goofy over the top insults as much as British ones.

    All the more reason for you to watch red dwarf :)

    Though I will say that it is a noticeable difference in humour even within the same language.

    The deacon at my church (who I speak to often) likes to say that the US and Britain are two nations separated by a common language. :)

    It's not a required component, just a fun side game if you think you know where the quote is from and can be bothered to type it.

    After I posted, I was thinking about it and it did kind of strike me as more of a Kryten thing to say. I even sort of remember that scene and now that you mention it I definitely do.
