I went to a sci-fi/fantasy convention called Norwescon in Seattle over the weekend. The Author Guest of Honor was George R. R. Martin himself.

Here's a picture of our mighty writer seated upon the Iron Throne, surrounded by several of his characters.

    I never got to talk to him, but later that night, someone sang a parody of Let it Go during a silly talent show that was all about Game of Thrones. One of the reoccurring lines was "And Tirion's still aliiiiive!"

    The readers would riot if he killed Tirion off, I'm fairly certain.

    Its funny.... probably the only work in which it is a spoiler saying someone did NOT die

    I think anything involving Sean Bean would be spoiled if someone told you he survived.
