    Does seem to be a lot on here..though I participate in pretty much all of them regardless of how silly they are?

    The polls here started informative, but right now they are getting sillly.

    There should be a 'Not the Swordcoast's News'-off topic subforum, or 'Now for something completely different', to keep this chatter away from the info. Not that I don't like chattering, but I like forums being tidely ordered too.

    I made a single biased poll and although it brought a certain degree of nerdrage, the important thing is that there is passion about things we care about, like this game.
    Organize them how you wish, but I will make more polls as long as there are people willing to express themselves on them.

    And let no one say that these polls are useless, they are just as useful as any democratic nation's voting system - you can express your opinion as a free man/woman, but It won't change anything.

    lol, no poll is useless. don't know why you took mine so seriously, but ok. part of the forum's purpose, as i see it, is for fans to get to know each other.

    how else are we going to get multiplayer games started?

    general would have to be divided to few sections and then the polls would not irritate as much.

    but yeah, there are some good polls, but when i saw the forum "poll about forum polls" i just shook my head, took a look, and was ehhh, this is out of control.

    oooooh, what if on every poll, we could create a poll message/response. Like an official one, and whatever got the most votes would be the answer.

    That was be meta-funny and somehow, i think meta-awesome. :)

    I feel some how that this poll has been directed at me by a complete poll-ock.

    *Gasp's at use of strong language. Zips on flame retardent suit, hides behind sofa, peeks over the side to look at computer occasionally in case it blows up* :P

    Please can I just add... For some bizarre reason... People have asked me to create the polls! I have started to include their names at the start of them to try and deflect some of the poll abuse that can occur... Most people state how much they like them.

    People like polls because you can state your point of view quickly without needing to write a long winded thread stating your opinion... Like I have just done now... *sigh*

    It's not so much about them being polls but I do feel we get a large quantity of inane threads, this being one of them.
