Amarande: Why does the Arch Druid of the cloakwood get no XP Love? *(Spoiler)*

So, I just recently fired up an Evil Assassin +Evil Party run and murdered the the Druid in his his little tree fort and once again got the 120xp reward. The first time I played Baldur's Gate, I thought this was a mistake or a bug and here we are all these years later and there it is, like a sharp stick in my eye. Ha Ha 120XP for you, this for a character that can TPK a mid-level party. I feel like I am playing a tabletop game and my DM is messing with me!

I was just curious if this annoyed anybody else?

Does anyone else have a justification/explanation for this @&%hole having the same XP reward as a Cloakwood Mine Guard?

    Especially with the SCS mod, Amarande is brutal!
