    @Aosaw Yes if you had enough patience to let him talk, after a while he runs out of things to say and you get XP for it.

    Oh man. Talk about your challenging side-quests. :)

    (disclaimer: I have never, in fact, killed Noober. For my Good characters, it never seemed acceptable. For my Evil characters, I just never talk to him. ;) )

    Noober is currently enjoying his new life as a squirrel, courtesy of my "polymorph other" spell, and unless you care to join him I would suggest you shut the hell up.

    We're playing a heavily-modded version of the game. In this one there is a save v rabid dogs. I rolled a 20. You can't argue with a 20.

    What about now?

    I just knock him out with my fists while my party is 'elsewhere'. As a paladin you cannot just kill anybody you don't like, but knocking them senseless is another story...

    Noober died the first time I played BG. The second time I got the experience and I had not read about it.

    These little details are what make BG such a great game.
