Women characters in armor that doesn't leave massive parts of them exposed or which would you make you wonder "Why would any sane person wear that into combat?"

    I like it too, since now that the images are in spoiler tags, I can follow the thread this time. I had to give up on all the old ones that had no spoiler tags, because they drove my browser bonkers every time I clicked on them, and I couldn't keep my place in them.

    I NEED to thank you for providing many, many pictures that have inspired me(for characters and NPCs in my own homebrew) and will hopefully continue to do so. Anyway... Thank you, thank you and thank you, also thanks to anyone else who contributed :)

    Oh I'm quite familiar with them... You owe me a week of my life back :D Took sooo long to get through them all but so worth it. Pretty sure every NPC in my home brew will have a picture, haha.

    Heh, funny how many of them still sports cleavage windows or miniskirts or high heels =D Helps realising how skewed are representations of women in our culture as a whole. Of course, men aren't photorealists either, but at least they don't really undermine whatever they're supposed to call to mind.

    Also, is it just me or do some of them kind of stick out? First one of the second batch I'm definitely wondering "Why would any sane person wear this into battle" but maybe the point is to indicate someone who is not quite sane.^^

    Great bunch of pictures all in all! There's too much great ones to name them all but this is A+ quality!

    @Chnapy You should have seen my "unrealistic armor" thread. a greater selection of "explosion in a metal foundry" and "bikini/stripper armor" you have not seen in your life!

    (even though I got the feeling with the old one, that it started "real" (like real armour for protection) and then slowly descended into "stripperriffic" territory)

    In your first spoiler tag I really liked the lady with the monocle(need more monocles!), the woman/girl with the purple bandana(she reminds me of a character in a book I like) and the futuristic mechanic. :D

    Those ones just stuck out, all=awesome!
