Have got custom scripts. Installed update, some bugs started to happen. Went to NearInfinity to look why. Found the following double-numbered lines in the STATS.IDS:
If you run on Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X, you download the patch from the same store where you bought the game, i.e., from BeamDog, Steam, or GoG. If you are playing on iOS or Android, there is no patch yet. If you bought for OS X from the Apple App store, the patch is deferred until after the iOS version is released.
The 2.0 patch we released at the end of March, and 2.1 followed just 2 weeks later, so you might find 2.0 hard to come by, given its relatively short shelf life
I don't remember BeamDog making disk release, other than collector's editions, and those should all have a launcher that links to the BeamDog downloader.
Did you buy the Enhanced Edition by BeamDog, or or the original version by Bioware?
There was some third party company that bought the rights to release the game on disc. I can't remember the name. Trouble is, Beamdog doesn't release standalone patches.

So help me understand this position. The Mac version is actually patched, playable, available and released; yet because of where I decided to purchase, the release of that update is withheld until the release of updates for unrelated platforms (IoS & Android). What logic dictates this position?

Content removed because it violated the site rules. Keep it PG-13, folks; that includes excessive swearing. --Dee
@LaucianNailor I believe there is additional work necessary to get app through the current Apple app-store review process, and they are deferring the app-store related work until they have to do the same for the iOS versions. While there is no estimate of how long it will take, and no further information until it is released, I am hoping it will be quicker than the 15 month wait for patch BG2 1.2.2030
Hey there! So I was trying to locate recent reports on how multiplayer is doing or anything on the beta I've been hearing about. Is there a link available to any information on that?
I just wanted to say thanks for all the amazing work you guys have done. This runs like a dream on my iPad Air 2 (and ran quite well on an iPad 4) . I'll wait patiently for 2.x , currently running 1.3
However, one thing you guys might want to look into, creating an interface through which we could install mods on the iPad, probably similar to the import char function, would be worth a lot to many users such as myself.
Other misc. feedback: I never bought the extras cause I never needed them (art didn't have a nice elven Mage or fighter / Mage, and NPCs I could only have used a kivan replacement that didn't hate Viconia and forced me to rush through half the game, a kagain neutral or good replacement or a neutral or good Edwin replacement - Neera comes close but since I don't reload, "I just cost you 10000 gold and fire balled you, oops" Neera isn't up my alley)
A Quest that allowed the blackguard to be redeemed into an inquisitor would make me buy him in a second.

According to @Bengoshi multiplayer is quite stable in the v2.2 beta at the moment.
Yes, it is stable indeed. It resembles multiplayer in the 1.3 version. I played MP for about 10 hours in the 2.2 beta, and had only general crashes that are always a part of MP.
Is there a way to switch back to the original graphics?
Depends on what you are specifically looking for
You can turn off sprite outlines under the graphics menu
Otherwise if you have the 2.2 beta you can also change the nearest neighbourhood scaling to be off. With 2.2 you can also click Allow Scrolling Out of Bounds to have the map borders go back to their original setting.

Anyway, keep up the good work.
