Hey just a question from the new guy here. You guys do awesome work! Was wondering if anyone takes requests? I would love to see this guy done in BG style. Sadly Im not savy with photoshop as all of you seem to be.

@tyrant009: What would you like? The head only on a particular kind of armor? Both the head and upper body with a different background? If you have a specific image in mind, I can try to make it. The only difficulty I foresee is that his face lacks almost any contrast, so it will be difficult to alter it to match the BG style.

@Isandir: Well actually I kinda like the pic as a whole for a necromancer type. They only thing would be a different background, alittle more medieval. Perhaps the back of a menacing throne or crypt. As far as contrast I actually perfer the paleness but the viens, I was wondering if its possible to give them a hint of neon green (like negetive energy courseing through his viens) So they stand out more.

    @isandir

Aye, I would've preffered just generic, brown, leather armor - not sure how Studded Leather looked IRL, now that I think about it. The black coating made him look more sinister, though, in my opinion. 'Tis a very good choice for portrait, no doubt.

Thing is, I'm finding myself switching back and forth between your portrait and another (I'll attach the files).

As for the first portrait, I think he looks awesome as a Bounty Hunter, but he doesn't really look "Lawful". Feels more like Neutral Evil, there. Your portait looks Lawful Evil, but not really like a Bounty Hunter... Attaching a hood, perhaps? Idk. I am incredibly picky, Isandir, so don't let it go to your head! :)

To be honest I have no idea.
I've just used Google/pics like "GoT portrait" or "GoT painting"...
I think I'll add the first 2 pics to my collection. They're great and baldurized IMO :-)

The girls are like Mages with a dragon familiar :-)

@tyrant009: Here are two versions, one with glowing eyes and one without. It would be difficult to make the veins any brighter without appearing out of place, but I can give it a try if you'd like.

@isandir: Dude, that is awesome. The viens came out perfect. Just subtle enough to notice. I especially like how you shaded his face too nice job! Thank you kindly sir!

Any of you talented folks fancy taking a crack at Baldurising this one?

Would make a perfect portrait for my thief with the addition of some leather armour, but sadly the only image editing program I know my way around is MS Paint :P.

Here are two of my Black Pits characters:
Ceddicus - a healer (or a mage, if you prefer) from a small village
    image

    Guildenstern - a guard captain
    image

The first one's original version is sharper. I just edited it to have an Icewind Dale effect, sort of. I could post it up if anyone would like me to. I'll also try to look up where I got them so I can properly give credit to the artists. I have some other pics here, but I don't think I could ever find their artists as some of them came from the NWN vault's thousands of portraits.

This was the only portrait I would ever use in the Neverwinter Nights. Thanks for tracking it down, @Erg; I had lost my copy!

The following portrait derives from an image I've found on NWN Vaults (I merely cropped and resized).

I don't know who the original author is.

While it's not a single portrait, I just have to post this here since I had so much fun creating them. Here are the revised NPC portraits I made for the upcoming restoration of Dark Side of the Sword Coast. You can see the original thread here: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/15101/npc-preview-dark-side-of-the-sword-coast

@Isandir Hi! Can I ask you a favor too, since you're a lot better than me at photoshopping pics?
I'd like to have this pic "baldurized", if possible.
    Thanks a lot!

Alternate Imoen (BG2 since she's scarred). Original drawing here: http://club.ados.fr/heryn-amlug/galerie-personnages-feminins-1990/photo/imoen-baldur-jinxiedoodle-3152951.html

Hmmm..... kinda looks like Cameron Diaz?

Would it be possible to drow-ify this portrait? I really like this port, but finally getting ahold of Viccy I realized how bright her skin actually is. :)

The hair doesn't blend very well there; the color and the texture is too obviously different. I took the liberty to grab the hair from the original:

It's not that great, but you might find a use for it, as inspiration if nothing else.

@SpaceInvader: Sorry I took so long to do this. I've been working on the DSotSC project and haven't really been making any other portraits. It's a bit of a challenge, as it's already a painting in the BG style, and there is no higher resolution available. I tested it in-game, though, and it blends in with the standard portraits relatively well. Just let me know if you'd like anything changed.

@Isandir Thank you, it's really well done! Just a pity about the resolution ;(

I don't suppose anyone has done one based on Anakin Skywalker?

Who? Do you mean Darth Vader? I think the difficulty with such a picture is that we don't have any frame of reference for what he looked like when he was Anakin Skywalker.

...It's a shame they never made Episodes 1-3, so that we could know what Darth Vader was like as a little boy.
I want to live in your world where I can unsee what I have seen!
