Did anyone notice the Buckler "Steadfast"?

AC +3
Usual no protections vs Missiles/Piercing
+10 HP for dwarves, +5 for the rest

Anyone else thinking that dwarves are getting more racial benefits than most when it comes to item bonuses?

It makes sense thematically. There are other items that gives bonuses specifically to 1 or 2 races. There's also items that do more damage to 1 or more alignments. There's items that give more of a bonus to a certain class, even though other classes can wear said item. And so on.

It's not a big deal, really.

Given that there are no dwarf followers, this is proof that charname should be a dwarf.

That's exactly what I was thinking :/ That skald would have been a nice dwarf as well...

I'm a little disappointed that there don't seem to be any items with special benefits for half-orcs. Hopefully they've just escaped everybody's attention somehow.

Tbf, Half-Orcs do have good bonuses already and even have more romances options than Dwarves XD

A dwarf wouldn't mind if there were a half-orc item. He would sell it ;)

I beg to differ. A dwarf would mind if there was a half-orc item, because it would imply someone wasted good craftsmanship on an orc.

I think that's a distinction dwarves care for about as much as Red Wizards do.

True, but gold is gold. Everything can be sold for gold. Also, who said it was "good" craftsmanship?
