    I think he means charm and if you free her you get a cloak similar to algernons.

    Not Ragefast. Good guess though, and you're in the right city.

    Could it be Yago then? He holds some power over Brielbara and you are tasked with taking his book of curses, though it can't be wielded so again the third clue is a stretch, hehe..

    My guess would be Cyrdemac, who is the dude bribing the noblewoman in the Three old kegs.
  • Montresor_SPMontresor_SP Member Posts: 2,208
    @smyth25 has it!

    Cyrdemac holds power over Areana and uses it to blackmail her. Areana wants you to solve the problem by killing him, and if you do you can then blackmail her yourself (until she sics another assassin at you, that is!).

    I am a wanted criminal
    I am... usually... a mighty swordsman
    I share part of my name with another significant character in BG

    Meilum? The last one is a stretch, not sure Lum the Mad is who you are referring to.
  • smyth25smyth25 Member Posts: 219
    @Skatan not Melium, should clarify though that the character I am asking for has has many names within their name (god I'm bad with words) and that one of these names is shared with another character.

    Then I think it's Habib Khalid Achmed Allafif. I think he's a thief, the second one you probably refer to his throwing scimitar, the last one should be Khalid.

    @Skatan Yep! That was nice and quick.

    Mine are usually quite easy, so I will start a bit vague and then add a more direct fourth one if this is too hard. But considering the epic knowledge in this place, I doubt it's needed, hehe..

    I need you help
    Take me to the mysterious place
    Thanks! Bye!

    @Skatan
    Is it the Doppleganger in Irenicus's Dungeon?
    I don't remember his name, it's been too long since I actually bothered to go down that hallway, I can't stand replaying Irenicus's Dungeon anymore.

    Neera?
  • SkatanSkatan Member, Moderator Posts: 5,352
    Neither.. perhaps it's too vague.

    4. You find me in a place you only visit once.. though it's twin is visited as well.
  • NeverusedNeverused Member Posts: 803
    Hmm, let's see... a place with a shared map visited only once? Only a few maps even qualify... Durlag's tower and the place Haer'Dalis is captured is a shared map... Haer'Dalis, I guess?
  • smyth25smyth25 Member Posts: 219
    Could it be Renfeld?
  • SkatanSkatan Member, Moderator Posts: 5,352
    BADA-BOOM! @smyth25 is spot-on!

    I need you help - When encountered, Renfeld is injured and need your help. No healing works
    Take me to the mysterious place - at first, the Harper holdout is a mysterious place, at least until you are allowed in.
    Thanks! Bye! - You leave him with the doorguard, get a "thanks" and then it's just goodbye.
    You find me in a place you only visit once.. though it's twin is visited as well. - the map is spawned when traveling between city areas, though the same "twin" template map is used more than once, ie when fighting the slavers

    You're up next!

    You can also encounter him in a city map I believe.

    I'm going to try a slightly more vague riddle now:

    1. I can deny your magic.
    2. My attitude does not fit the equipment I wear.
    3. My servant is prone to rash action.

    Thalantyr?
  • smyth25smyth25 Member Posts: 219
    Not Thalantyr!
  • NeverusedNeverused Member Posts: 803
    Jardak!
  • smyth25smyth25 Member Posts: 219
    @Neverused yes it's Jardek!

    1. Somehow he has 50% magic resistance.
    2. He wears the Helm of the noble, which doesn't suit his hostile behaviour.
    3. His butler, Drelik, will attack you on sight and cannot be convinced otherwise (fundly enough, he also has 50% magic resistance).

    1. I am quite pleased with you!
    2. ... But I'm going to kill you anyways.
    3. I have killed an entire party by myself.

    Demonknight (bottom of Durlag's Tower)?
  • NeverusedNeverused Member Posts: 803
    Nope, not the Demonknight.

    @Neverused
    Is it Degrodel?
  • NeverusedNeverused Member Posts: 803
    Noooope. Not Degrodel.
    4) I am, by my claim (And personally I, Neverused, believe him), the toughest of my kind.
