That was quick. @semiticgod Aerie is a Cleric/Mage, an illegal multi-class for Elves... but legal for Avariel according to P&P sources. Regeneration is supposed to be able to heal chopped off limbs... But can't regrow wings, apparently. Or it's just her. Of all the original NPCs, she romanced the most races: Humans, Half-elves, Elves, Gnomes, and Halflings. Of course, of all the new NPCs, most if not all are willing to romance any race.
1. You might have been expecting more of me, but the feeling is mutual. 2. Unlike my superior and my foe, I look the same as most of my minions. 3. Stop by whenever it's convenient. 4. My death will always be avenged.
1. Renal Bloodscalp said he was expecting more imposing when he first saw you, and you can say that you expected something more imposing from a guy named Bloodscalp. 2. Renal uses the base Shadow Thief sprite, like several of his allies, while Aran Linvail, his superior, and Mae'Var, his enemy, use typical human sprites that don't match (most of) their respective allies. 3. Yoshimo recommends visiting Renal, but mentions that you can do it "whenever it's convenient," unlike most quest givers who suggest getting to the quest target fast. 4. You can kill Renal, but if you do it before siding with Bodhi, an invincible version of Arkanis Gath will spawn in and kill you instantly.*
*Since Arkanis Gath works by using a long-range short sword +3 with an instant death effect (opcode 55 or so) on hit with no save, it's actually possible to survive Arkanis Gath's attacks with weapon immunity spells, low AC, or Death Ward, and before an EE update, it was possible to kill Arkanis Gath using ability score drain.
..., and before an EE update, it was possible to kill Arkanis Gath using ability score drain.
You mean they ruinedfixed that one as well?
New riddle:
1) First time you meet me, I'm just showing you the way. 2) Second time I bring a message from my employer. 3) At this time you can choose between him and ... another.
Brus shows you either to the Copper Coronet or the district exit. He returns after you meet Valen to call you back to Gaelan, and at this point you can choose between Bodhi or the Shadow Thieves.
1) I would have been your enemy regardless, but now I am forced to be so. 2) I can stop greedy solo players even after my death 3) I can offer you unlimited arcane power *
@smyth25 Yep! 1) The Cowled Wizards are antagonistic anyways, and then there's Irenicus' mind whammy. 2) There's a chest with a Maze trap in his room: solo players beware. 3) He drops the book of Infinite spells, where infinite kinda deserves an asterisk of its own.
I am the leader of an adventuring group My group is friendly, but also rather asinine. I am capable of fighting, but not neutralising, powerful beasts.
@Montresor_SP has it! Gorpal Hind is the leader of an adventuring group, his group title ‘the merry fools’ implies he is both friendly, but also asinine. He is a capable fighter since he can defeat the greater basilisk, however he fails to neutralise it since it wakes up.
1. Rejiek can't be killed when you first meet him, as he is scripted to escape without fail. When you meet him again in Trademeet, you can kill him--and it's incredibly easy. 2. When asked why he's flaying people alive, Rejiek replies that there's no explanation that could satisfy the player, saying that he may as well "explain the sun to the moon." 3. Rejiek is not hard to guess as the culprit. Aside from the lack of any other real suspects, Rejiek is the local tanner, the one person who has the most experience with, most use for, and presumably greatest interest in skins. The fact that he leaves an exotic animal hide at the scene of a crime and a witness smelled the scent of oak bark, a common ingredient in the tanning process, only solidifies his guilt. 4. Rejiek has a French accent, and the only other voice with a French accent in the BG saga is Entar Silvershield's in Siege of Dragonspear, based on unused voice files from BG1.

I am the leader of an adventuring group
My group is friendly, but also rather asinine.
I am capable of fighting, but not neutralising, powerful beasts.
Haer'Dalis?
One of your companions will know me.
My pet can fly, though she doesn't carry skydrop gems or diamonds.
Ribald is well known; in fact Jaheira recognizes him immediately.
And he has a pet Wyvern, Lucy (in the Sky with Diamonds).
2. There is no explaining my motives.
3. I am the most obvious culprit.
I have two answers.
The first is Mellisan, although if that is the case I have arguments against your clues.
The second is Nyalee because her reasonings for the heart ritual and undoing it make no sense to me.
4. Only one other character shares my unique accent.

3.) I come from a city of a crown, horses, and spears
