I agree, it's not easy to find the info because all of the sticky threads have been cleared from the forums but you can find any new info on updates in the "news" section of the forum.

There should be an announcement bar at the top of the page with a link to the News post. It looks like that News post got dismissed from Recent Discussions and I can't get it back there, though.
