Does anybody have any item codes for magic katanas in ID:EE?

    SW1H43 - Katana
    SW1H44 - Katana +1
    SW1H55 - Katana +2
    SW1H51 - "Solemn Duty" +3
    SW1H45 - "Darkened Glory" +2

    sure there used to be an item mod for iwd, buti cant seem to find it....

    Well, Katanas are supposed to be rare/exotic weapons in that part of the Forgotten Realms.

    In any case, mods that add items include:
    • House Rules - adds bonus merchants which sell powerful magic items from BG2 and PST, including at least one Katana (Dak'kon's Zerth Blade +2)
    • Monastic Orders of Faerun - monk items, though I don't think they're placed in the game world yet, so you'll have to CLUAConsole them in. (No Katanas though.)

    The two named katanas that were added in EE are powerful and timely ime, adding more would just break immersion surely?

    Plus they're both not random loot. If you know where to look, you'll find Darkened Glory and Solemn Duty every time.

    i dont have any immersion in iwd....its a hackfest not a roleplaying game.

    Different strokes for different folks, personally I really like the atmosphere.

    i do like the elven tower, but am an experienced RPGer, am not deluded than iwd is balanced.

    ill play it how i want to play it and get off your *** sanctimontious soap box!!!!

    No one told you not to play it that way, they were just explaining why there aren't many katanas in Icewind Dale, as well as providing ways to mod more into the game.
