Baldur's Gate won't Launch after installing SoD, but works if i uninstall it. [Steam]

I bought SoD today and when i install it i can't even start Baldur's gate up. When i uninstall the dlc however, the game works normally. I have no idea why it's happening.

Edit: guess no one knows?

Edit2: if it helps. i already owned baldur's gate 1 and 2 EE and i purchased the bundle that came with SoD because it was 10% off.

What game version does it show when SoD is not installed.
Is this PC, Mac or Linux.
Do you have any mods installed.
From Steam, right-clicking Properties, check the Updates (keep up to date) and betas (none) then under local files try the verify integrity.

i figured it out. its cause i had mods installed. cant use them i guess
