The Fear (Spoilers) - Possible Bug?

I'm doing Boareskyr Bridge for the first time and I was talking to the two mages when the Greater Feyr appeared, at which point my character instantly died. It was odd because my character didn't seem to have been attacked and while I know these things can do a lot of damage she is a 117 hit point paladin with a -6 armour class. I reloaded and killed it easily.

So what happened the first time? Was my paladin just very unlucky or is this a bug?

    A known bug - not related to that specific event, though. But that sudden death of the PC for no apparen reason. Just make a search across the forums and you will find multiple reports about it.

    Thanks Paula. I've been trying not to read the SoD forums too much because I don't want to spoil the plot before I play.
