Quick qustion about Weapon Styles and Ranged Weapons.

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Do the Weapon Styles, such as Two-Handed and One-Handed effect Ranged Weapons? I'm pretty sure do not, but it never especially says.

    Nope. None of the fighting styles work with ranged weapons.

    Didn't think so, but too bad.

    You don't get attacking bonuses, but the defensive bonus against ranged weapons still functions with sword and shield style. Of course you need to have a shield equipped for this, so have to use a one-handed missile weapon like a sling.

    Be nice if it could. In the Javelin mod, they are still classifed as two handed, and gives no shield bonus when throwing them. But in @WarChiefZeke 's Ishlilka mod, he made her throwing javelin one-handed so at least gets the shield bonus to AC, like the sling. Still, as mentioned, with both ,the style modifier does not kick in.
