Hello, all!
I've got a question about the spell in topic, as I am a little rusty on BG.
What types of enemies does abovementioned spell affect? (Humanoids, Monsters, Animals, Undead etc.)

It will affect anything that is not immune to the sleep effect. That means it won't work on any undead critter, nor will it work on demons, dragons, trolls, or plot-critical critters (some critters cannot be reduced below 1 HP, and they're usually immune to all disabling effects). Since it's a level 5 spell, liches and rakshasas are also immune thanks to their spell level immunities.

Since it does not bypass magic resistance, drow will resist it and golems will be immune. And since it offers a save vs. spell with no penalty, some critters with a save vs. spell of 1, like Rayic Gethras, will never fail their save (unless you impose save penalties via Called Shot, Doom, Greater Malison, or Chant, or unless you're an Enchanter dual-classed to cleric, which means all enchantment spells get an extra -2 save penalty).

Otherwise, it can work on all kinds of stuff. It's not limited to humanoid targets.
