Edwin would study rocket science and annoy the hell out of his teachers. In his later career he would make such prolific use of the word 'simian' in reference to other researchers that it would eventually become established in scientific vocabulary as a term for someone with whom you politely disagree. As Edwin would vehemently disagree on that definition he would have a breakdown and in a mad fit decide to have a sex change, ending up a bitter woman.

Also, I don't think Xan quite fits "emo teenager". His pessimism runs deeper than that, and he seems a little two old for the role. I think he would fit more as a bitter, disillusioned trial lawyer in his mid-thirties who's lost a lot of faith in the justice system, having seen its flaws, but still tries his damnedest to do his duty as an attorney

Naw. The ALF is FAR more militant, and far more dangerous, which fits the Shadow Druids' M.O. much better. PETA mostly just runs shock campaigns nowadays, and wastes money making stuff like Petamon.
