    Its funny, the trailer makes it look like a fast action Diablo III type rpg, whereas I've always played combat in a slow tactical way, with lots of pausing, LOL!

    Nope. After you download the game you don't even need to have the Beamdog client open to play.

    BTW the Beamdog client has started downloading (slowly), but I still haven't received an email yet - if I've pre-ordered, should I have by now? I've checked my Gmail spam folder too, and there's nothing Baldur's gate related in there, just the usual spam...

    Music files with .acm extension
    Scripts with .BS extension
    the all important decrypt.dll

    Mu maximum download rate is around 50b/s (yes b/s) and dropping :-(

    Anyone else having troubles with the beamdog client? I open mine and it is at a constant state of loading (the little loading circle in the middle of a grey window). It's been like this for about 10 minutes now, any suggestions?

    No.. it may be in one of the .BIFs, but there's no keyfile to go with them.
