the only question that matters

Will nwn:ee be compatible with the CEP? This is the most important question right now and if the answer is no then honestly nobody will play this or at least none of the current actives. Please keep this in mind during development. Thanks for keeping classic rpgs alive beamdog!

CEP is already working with NWN:EE, see https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/67596/nwn-ee-and-the-cep

The CEP is really just a set of massive hak files filled with community-made custom content. If NWN:EE will continue to be let users make modules with hak files, you should have no problem still using the CEP.

I think that if NWN:EE alters the 2da files, it won't be by much and I can incorporate those changes into either the regular CEP top hak (cep2_top_2_60) or make an alternate for EE modules/servers (perhaps cep2_top_2_60_ee).

There going to be some changes for things moving forward, that why this is a beta. We are having discussions on the trello board about heads/hair right now because better PC graphics is the number one voted on topic. To do this BD going to have to make some changes and CC creators are going to have to adjust, it just a matter of finding balance so the transition is not to hard for them. Most of of us are here and happy it in beta so we can contribute to improving a great game and making it an easy transition for scripters/cc creators/builders etc.. CEP/TheAmethystDragon, Project Q/meaglyn and other project leads are here also to give there input. We just getting started.
