Recent Discussions - how I can ignore all NWN:EE stuff?

Hello,

How I can ignore all NWN:EE stuff when I click at "Recent Discussion"? The NWN:EE spam kills this feature for me as I cannot follow IE games recent posts.

Spam is a bit harsh but yes, I too would like this feature.

@JuliusBorisov Well, that's exactly what I do but I was hoping to have extra customization. Initialy I wanted to blame Vanillia Forums for the lack of feature but I found this:

Hold you horses. I don't call the content of the NWN threads a "spam". I'm simply annoyed by the fact that threads from the completely separate community of non-IE game, focused on "Multiplayer" has populated "Recent Discussion" to the point where I stopped using this feature at all. NWN/Aurora has nothing to do with BG/IWD/Infinity Engine so the forum is in the mixed state of the two worlds, without features in order to separate them.

I must thank @Shandaxx for that forum mod. It makes the Recent Discussions section convenient again!

I also would request for official support in the matter.

Up until NWN was announced, I used the Recent Discussions and found it quite convenient. Sure, there were threads I ignored, but it was easy enough to search and pick interesting threads.

Since the announcement of NWN, there are just way too many threads that I have little to no interest in. I'm not hating NWN supporters or anything, those threads just don't personally interest me. But there's so many of them, that wading through the Recent Discussions list becomes a chore.

Likewise, there could be people interested purely in NWN material, and it would likely be just as nice for them if they could ignore all the IE sections that they don't care about.

Hello everyone. We're currenty in the process of enabling the "Category Following" feature for the forum, which should address the issue mentioned in this thread. You might see the "Follow" button but a filter in Recent Discussions (and thus a full implementation of this feature) will happen a bit later.

...AAAAND it's in. You can see the filter in Recent Discussions (a dropdown menu "All" or "Following").

Edit: I only found this thread by chance - maybe it should be made an Announcement to stop it getting lost in the mists of time? I find it has really made browsing this forum more enjoyable for me.
