What is your favorite mod you have ever played?

Simple enough. What mod can you not live without on your playthroughs or enjoy the most.

Mine is a toss up between @subtledoctor / @Grammarsalad Faith and powers or @LavaDelVortel Innershade.

Guh, I don't think I can choose a single mod. Ascension is the one I have played the longest though, being my first mod. I also just can't play anymore without Faiths and Powers or Might and Guile.

BG1 NPC Project by faaaar. BG1 just feels so lifeless without it.

BG1NPCs and Ascension - without them BG1 and ToB are just empty.
SCS for the overall enhanced feeling if you play BGT or EET.

I refuse to choose. Don't ask me to choose. I love all my mods equally. I couldn't play without any of these:

    BG1 Mini Quests and Encounters
    BG1 NPC
    BG1 Unfinished Business
    Rogue Rebalancing
    More Styles for Mages
    Spell Revisions
    Tome and Blood
    Golem Construction
    Faiths and Powers
    Might and Guile
    CDTweaks
    SCS
    Scales of Balance
    Kjeron's "Restrict specialist spell slots"
    NPC_EE
    EEUI Tweaks
    Hidden Gameplay Options

I think I might add Shadow Magic, Item Randomizer and Animal Companions to that list next time. For BG2, add Almateria's Restorations, Afaaq the Djinni Companion, Quayle-BGII, Xan-BGII, Tiax-BGII, and Wheels of Prophecy, because Throne of Bhaal is horrible.

The above mentioned are obiviously great mods. All of the abovemention mods are worthy of a place on a list of the best mods.

But I have on the other hand also enjoyed the old megamods from “the big picture”:
    - shadows over Soubar,
    - The darkest day and
    - Tortured souls.

They where a bit buggy, the writing not that extraordinary and the loot a bit too much. But the love and attention these mods where given by their creators is obvious - and that makes all the things that works, shine through what doesnt work (so well). Without these mods I dont think that I would have kept coming back to the BG trilogy.

It's hard to go back without a lot of the most basic SCS components. I'd add BG1NPC to it as well.

As for mods released after EE, argent's Golem Construction mod is probably my favourite. The additional golems for enemy mages alone made it memorable to me.

BG1NPC in the Bhaalspawn series. It makes the game feel completely different in a good way.

For NWN, Adam Miller’s Shadowlands was excellent. The first chapter was good but not great, but it just kept getting better and better.

I like pretty much all of the mods posted so far, so I shall post the one which has made the best impression on me recently: Classic Adventures. This is a total conversion for vanilla which includes many old p&p mods. Nice to have a few surprises as I hadn't played the originals, and it feels like a fresh adventure. Not perfect by any means but an interesting change of pace with some nice maps.

Gameplay-wise, well SCS Ascension F&P etc...

On quest mods, I really loved the Grey Clan. A real, real shame only the first episode was released.

Didn't play NPC mods so much, but I kinda like Sirene Vynd and Verr'Ssza

BG1NPC. BG1 is a part based rpg yet its companions are really dull, they're just one inch above IWD custom characters. BG1NPC rectifies this and I simply cannot play the game without it.
CDTweaks, without it the BG saga might as well be Inventory Management: The Game.
