For Shaundakul, he can specialize (2 pips) in any weapon. He can get 2 pips in any combat style and 3 pips in two weapon fighting. Is this intended?

Are you sure you're not using a Ranger/Cleric of Shaundakul?

No. Just cleric. Valkur is the same. See character sheet and weapon pick screenshots below.

Weird, I didn't have any of these issues and I double checked the files and they are ok.

I'm reinstalling DoF ATM in all three games to triple check. Any other mod you're using?

    Oh yes.

@Necromanx2 None of those mods would affect the weapons' selection.

    Tested

    * IWDEE: No problems at all.

    * BGEE: No problems at all.

    * BH2EE: No problems at all.

All the other things you reported are already fixed - actually, it was just a matter of uploading the right file to Github instead of an outdated one - except for the Goodberry, where I mislabeled the spell name.

About the issue you're having with the weapon proficiency did you by any chance just installed this new version of DoF on top of the previous one?

If you did, probably the problem will be fixed by entirely uninstalling DoF and reinstalling it - that is the optimal procedure with any mod updates AFAIK.

Tomorrow I'll upload 1.9.2 with Ibrandul and the fixes to the things you reported, if you'll take the uninstall-install rote I suggest to wait a little bit.

    Thanks!

I uninstalled, deleted DoF folder and exe and then installed, edited 2tp to add Bhaal, Myrkul, and Liera and then installed. I'll wait till to tomorrow to repeat.

Well, that makes it even weirder. Especially because I can't reproduce this problem on my end.

    I'll ask around.

Hmm. Uninstalled the dual-class to kit mod and pips works fine now.

Edit: @kjeron is there something that conflicts?

I would suspect that it is giving you the options for the Cleric/Ranger version of the kit:
    * Mods that add a Multi-class kit and Single-class kit under the same name will attempt to differentiate them by their kit description. If it fails they might end up using the others proficiency options.

There isn't much more I can do about it on that end, given the limited information available through the UI.

@Raduziel This can be fixed by giving the single and multiclass kits separate descriptions (a single character difference should be enough).

@kjeron Thanks, I'll see what I can do. Never had this issue myself.

By description you mean the text that starts with the deity's name in capital letters?

    Example:

    @1: deity name

    @2: Deity Name

@3: DEITY NAME: Deity is a cool god who grant you powers.

The @3 is the one that needs to be different, am I correct?
  • kjeronkjeron Member Posts: 2,368
    Yes, @3.
  • Necromanx2Necromanx2 Member Posts: 1,246
    Observation.
The beginning of Valkurs description says he carrier a great shield to defend against the gods of fury, yet the kit cannot use shields. Seems odd.

TSR fault, not mine. A lot of deities uses gear that is forbidden to its followers.

As there is no easy way to restrict to Chain Mail, all the kits with that limitation are gaining Splint Mail as a bonus.

On top of that, there's no cutlass in IE, so I gave Scimitar instead. Same goes for Harpoon and Trident, I've turned it into Spear.

But the shield restriction is loud and clear.

The solution to the problem with Kjeron's Dual-to-Kits mod is uploaded in Github. Can be found here as a beta.

I'll upload it as a release when I finish Ibrandul (that should happen today) and pack the 1.9.2 version.

    Cheers.
  • RaduzielRaduziel Member Posts: 4,714
Version 1.9.2 is up and it contains:

    * Darkwalker of Ibrandul (Cleric and Cleric/Thief - IWDEE only).

    * Fixes for Shaundakul, Valkur and Jergal.

    * A better way for installing Shar and Mask (thanks @kjeron )

    * Better compatibility between DoF and Kjeron's Dual-Into-Kits (no random bug should appear from now on).

    What changed with Jergal?

Fixed. Thanks. The problem was in the thread, everything in game is working as intended.

Jergal's code was not copying Undead Ward as an innate spell if you installed DoF without B_Spells, IWDification or the Sphere System. Passed by because I think that no one does that. Anyway, now everything will work fine with or without those mods/component.

    Thanks!

What does the road map look like for future releases?

EDIT: @Raduziel what do you think of adding cure light wounds to the ALL sphere? Currently there are kits that have 0 healing ability when the book says they should at least have minor heal access. Adding cure light wounds to all would give at least something to all kits.

About the road map: Eldath -> Ulutiu -> Gond/Deneir/Milil/Lliira/Waukeen/Finder Wyvernspur

About the healing: I'll not provide healing to All as some kits should not have any healing ability for balancing purpose BUT I can take a look and see which kits should have access to healing and are not getting.

I had to remake the sphere system as it is impossible to translate the PnP entirely to IE, and for that reason I've decided to use my own logic for the deities as apparently TSR randomly gave the spheres to the kits.

If you have the feeling that a kit is underpowered due to the lack of healing, please let me know and I'll judge the matter. Just be aware that one of the flavors of DoF is having multiple priests in a party and feel like they have completely different functions. And healing spells are kind of overvalued in the game with the number of healing potions, easy access to regeneration and rest.

I created a Darkwalker of Ibrandul and the darkness ability didn't appear to do anything. I made a gnomish C/T variant. When I use the ability, my character casts a spell and then nothing.

I'll check that, thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Edit: Found the problem - apparently the new way of installing Mask and Shar is messing with everyone that uses the Darkness spell. The project is being added wrongly, so nothing happens as there's nothing to trigger.

I'll see a way to solve this.

    ---

I'll make some changes in the road map:

Ulutiu will probably not be made. For the IE it would be way too OP (100% immunity to cold, +2 Wisdom, the only real downside is being forbidden to start a fire). I'll push it to the end of the line for now with some others.

Now that Eldath is made I'll focus on the Silvanus branch (bad joke, I know). Mielikki, Lurue, Shiallia and Nobanion will follow soon - Silvanus itself doesn't have priests, only druids, so it will not be made; the same thing happens to Chauntea.

As always, there's no forecast, but stay tuned for more.

@Raduziel noticed two things with 1.9.3.

    1) When I run the exe it says I am installing 1.9.2.
    2) Eldath does not load.

I found in the tp2 file that Eldath is commented out (so easy edit for me to make to get the class).

    Hotfixes:

    * Ibrandul, Shar and Mask (Darkness spell)

    * Correct .tp2 file allowing Eldath to be installed

    Everything should be fixed now.
