Ways to restore original Emotion: Hopelessness (Android and PC Version)

Hi everybody,
After that terrible (imho) change I'm looking for a way to have the old spell back. Any way/mod?
I'm playing the game on my android tablet now, but I bought it also on my PC (so I'm seeking after solutions for both devices).
(I'm also looking for the same solution for BGEE)

Not sure about that being the right place to post that btw (sorry if wrong, please move it to the right place )

Hello! What is original Emotion: Hopelessness and what should be changed in the current spell, according to you?

The spell in the original games knocked down affected targets for all its duration despite being hit. If I remember well in BGEE series this change is the result of the modification of Sleep spell to better fit its own description. Sharing both spells the same code Emotion changed as well, in the same way, despite its different description.
Many also here think the spell is more balanced now but I'm not asking to bring it back for all...just looking for a way to have it back for myself

Emotion: Hopelessness is currently (2.3 and 2.5.15.4beta) setup for it's targets to not wake up when hit on PC.
Is mobile still behind on updates?

Tryed with a New Game, Android Version 1.3.2064...after being affected and then hit by a melee weapon a goblin has got up again.
I don't know about PC version btw...any ideas?

You can already opt in the beta of the next patch.
