European multiplayer party!

Hey all,

Looking forward to the BG EE and especially looking forward to playing it with a dedicated and solid party.
I have alot to learn when it comes to baldurs gate although i do know some of the mechanics.

Im still pondering about which class i will go but itll be either human paladin or something like an elven ranger or thief or maybe a ranger/thief.

I am looking for fun , active and dedicated players!
So if anyone is intrested in teaming up for a solid and fun experience please let me know!! ^^

My timezone is GMT+1, i however often stay up late so i am very flexible.
Im pretty sure we can make a group that works out just fine time wise.

    If you add your time-zone, it might help match you up with someone. Also, some of us are asking for a multi-player forum for just this purpose. You could sign the poll if you like.

    There is a thread where elminster and I have tried to get some people together as well. And I was contacted by someone in Melbourne, for the purposes of a "Let' s Play" type of game. If you decide on something, try to stay in contact with your party so they know you are dependable. =)

    I live in the Central U.S., UTC offset -6 hours. I think we have 4-5 people for sure. No problem at all, I'm new here as well. We have decided to utilize in-game chat to communicate, however, I am also familiar with Ventrilo, Teamspeak, and Skype.

    Status of Team 1:

    Elminster-Druid -(half-elf)-Neutral
    xxxsmb1987xxx-Fighter-(Human)-Choatic good
    LordsDarkKnight185-Cleric/Mage-(Half-elf)-Neutral good

    However, certain individuals may not still be interested. It's hard to gauge.

    Yeah a 7 hour difference would make it hard for me to team up with u guys.

    So people that are intrested and have a timezone comparable to mine; ASSEMBLE! ;)

    Keep me posted if you need another player, I would be able to fit it in, as I am currently off work. I'll find time to sleep somewhere. =)

    +2 gmt and i can play from 9pm to 2am each day or so and i would prefer to play Blade or pure clean thief.

    Got you and your playing times listed Raywind, ofcourse playing times will need to be looked at when theres a full party of 6.

    I could probably give it a go, GMT here. No class yet, but probably some form of arcane spell caster, I likes zee squishies.

    GMT+2 here. I would be willing to aid you heroes on your epic journey and vanquish whatever foes stand in our way. Will probably play a pure sorc and show dem skillz.

    Nice , we almost have enough ppl. After we got a full six wed need to agree on times and classes ;)

    GMT here, Paladin Inquisitor with spec in 2h for obvious reasons ^^. Depending on the day will be available in either the evening 9pm-1am or weekends all day possibly.

    I'm in Germany and I've got nothin better to do than this tonight. Entirely flexible on class, though I like the straightforwardness of the kensai. How's hooking up with people on multiplayer work in the new edition? More straightforward than in Gamespy days past?

    sounds good!! So who has the option to play tonight?
    Would be sweet to make a start on launch!

    We need to talk classes for a good balance.

    I was planning on paladin , ranger or maybe a thief.
    Since Captain is going Paladin i doubt we would need another.

    Ive noticed alot wanting to go spellcaster but ive seen none willing to go Cleric so far.
    We need a healer and then wed have no problem getting pretty balanced setup i think.

    I can play tonight until about 1am I would imagine? Ajwz and krawkill mentioned they would be class flexible as we need a healer, worth asking them for sure.

    I could always roll a cleric/mage. Fancied a sorcerer or a bard, but I am flexible. Just want to pew pew with the spells ya know.

    @IchigoRXC cleric/mage sounds good.
    Now im torn between a sword+shield style paladin (being the main tank) and a elven archer.

    So with IchigoRXC going cleric we would still need a thief to disable traps and possibly scout.

    As for Cadros, it kinda depends on whos available tonight + the classes others are taking.
    Mage classes seem to be popular and might not be what we need.
    But well keep in touch for updates.

    @Origin88 Raywind was one of the first responses wanting to be a pure thief. An archer could be very handy depending on the other classes. Too many spellcasters spoil the broth, cleric/Mage and a sorcerer or pure Mage would be nice.

    wow totally missed the pure thief class part in Raywinds post.

    Ok so that would be sweet as we would have the thief we would need.

    Im still torn between a sword shield tanky paladin or a Ranger /w archer kit or maybe even stalker kit

    HELP ME X( cant choose... going... bonkers...

    Archer is pretty much a slayer in BG1, fantastic Thac0 steam rolls Kobolds, which will kill me if I go Cleric/mage, so you will need to kill them first ;) If we have a pally we don't need two.

    GMT+1 here. I was going to wait for the Android version, but finally caved in and got the PC version too. I'm up for a multiplayer campaign. Do you have a slot free? It's hard to figure out the current roster from all the posts.

    I do have some MP experience: starting 14 years ago, friends and I went through all IE games in campaigns that typically spanned 4-6 months. Good times! This was using GameSpy, though. It's not clear to me yet how players will link up in BG:EE.

    For a PC, my favourite is a multiclass F/M, but I'm fine with anything that lets me mix things up in melee.

    Do you intend to use some sort of a voice comms such as Skype, Mumble... ? I'm a slow typist. :)

    Im thinking ive made up my mind, Im going to be an Elven Archer.
    It just sounds right groupwise, RP wise and stat wise.

    @IchigoRXC feel free to update that handy list of yours ;)
